Playing Among Us with randoms in nutshell.
Concept: pay to lose. The game’s easiest difficulty level is free, but you have to pay to unlock all of the other difficulty levels. Only the higher difficulty settings award achievements.
1. Ah, yes! Because reasonable questions ruined your AMA! It's not like YOU avoided questions and deleted your AMA to cherry pick from responses, in order to portray r/Osana as a hate subreddit! Boohoo Cleaveland, boohoo.
2. If your AMA convinced your friend (who probably is more reasonable) to "switch teams", then I recommend taking a HARD look at yourself, because there's clearly something wrong on your side. And by the way...
3. "[...] he's one of them now." Why are you portraying us as a cult when you belong to a cult?
Tl;dr: Cleaveland being Cleaveland.
That's one of the reasons no one thinks about modding a game: Alex doesn't allow it. The other reason is that making a game from scratch is arguably easier than digging through the spaghetti code.
Note: That Reddit post was there for 11 hours, so AutoMod is out of question.
Wow, an entire blog based on YandereDev hate. Good for you. Maybe try spreading positivity on other subjects if all you have to say about YandereDev is mean non-constructive hate.
It can't be hate if I'm pointing out BS that others decide to believe. I'm proud to be a gremlin and not a scam supporter.
Cleaveland: "I can name 9 games YandereDev has finished making."
Also Cleaveland: Proceeds to not list them
Which games are we talking about? The ones he was playtesting while working at Kung Fu Factory? Or are you just being Cleaveland and you made that crap up?
Yandere (ヤンデレ) is a Japanese term for a person who is initially very loving and gentle to someone (or at least innocent) before their devotion becomes destructive in nature, often through violence and/or brutality.
Ayano and Yandere-kun dont fit this descrption in the slightest, Ayano is an emotionless shell who is incapable of emotion without being close to Senpai, she cant be gentle or kind because she is just emulating these emotions. The same goes for Yandere-kun, he's a sadistic boy who has marked Senpai to be his property and sees stalking Senpai and killing anyone that speaks to him as a "game".
How many times do we have to teach the same lesson?
Also, why did Cleaveland gave YandereDev a shoutout? He's not a critic, so why label him as one?
i’m seeing a lot of people reblogging suicide hotlines and this is just a reminder that this is a suicide help line that works like a text-based instant messenger for people who may need to talk to someone but have trouble/are uncomfortable making phone calls
Never don’t reblog this. There are so many people who have such bad anxiety about phone calls. This can save so many lives
"OMG SO AWESOME! GREAT JOB DEVPAAAAAAI!!!"
That's what I would say if I was stupid enough to not notice how it turns into a scam.
Not only he mentions money and crowdfunding 8 TIMES, not including all the times he mentions it in the game, but he also throws his own volunteers under the bus, blaming them for delays.
Let's not forget that this is only the first rival out of ten planned rivals plus eventual DLC rivals. Remember when he bragged about his game being in 6 years of development? Yeah, no, if I were him, I wouldn't be proud of my game getting the status of Development Hell.
Someone on Reddit noticed that the dialouge during the funeral is copy pasted, word by word, from Persona 3 funeral scene. Seriously, YandereDev?
Things that YandereDev supporters are okay with, apparently
- YandereDev’s narcissistic ass going apeshit with constructive criticism, especially with his code
- Being a creepy incel pervert who used to whine about not being able to get a girlfriend
- Stealing and making fun of a 11-year-old girl’s art
- False-flagging videos that criticize him, along with reuploads, hoping to censor criticism and expect the entire internet to kiss his ass
- Wanting to abolish the age of consent
- Unprofessionalism with his team, TinyBuild and with the game in general, along with treating his fans like garbage
(Yes, this is how YandereDev sees you, fans. Why are you still supporting him if he hates you?)
- Wanting to kill his parents just because they want him to get a life and go to college
- Manipulating, suicide-baiting, bullying, gaslighting, verbally abusing and playing the victim when he’s rightfully called out for his actions, especially with developers that are making games that are better than his and reminding him of how untalented he is
- Not crediting the people from his team
- Telling people to kill themselves, and he said that to a kid on stream
- Stealing assets, lying and buying free assets (never admiting that he didn’t make them), along with having artists that steal art and trace. Again, without crediting
https://prettyuglylittleliar.net/topic/10107-list-of-stolen-and-uncredited-assets/
- Claiming he’s “working hard” on his game when he streams a lot and took SIX YEARS to release Osana while adding “easter eggs”, fixing small bugs and other “features”. Also pulling excuses out of his ass about not progressing on the game
- Bitching, moaning and crying about memes
Anyways, if you still support YandereDev and are willing to give you his money, fuck you (Yandere Simulator is a scam, plain and simple)
They are okay with that...OR they simply ignore it and act like Chalex is an innocent angel he portrays himself as.
Hey
Why do I have the feeling that this is pretty accurate?
Honestly, for YandereDev, it should be “Are you scamming, son?” And for YandereDev’s mods, it should be “Are you banning, son?”
Had yet another thought about Yandere Simulator's trolls.
One of people's complaints is the game's development time. Let me say this.
YandereDev has been very public about the game since he first conceived it six years ago. That is highly unusual for anyone to do. There are probably people who've spent years making a game, and all we know is when it came out.
Also, I think it's grossly unfair to make comparisons between YandereDev and Scott Cawthon. Scott is on the other end of the unusual occurrence spectrum. He made three games in one year.
A final thing to the people saying we won't get another rival for six years. YandereDev made a video explaining why the game won't take him four decades to complete. Educate yourselves.
Scott actually made four Five Nights at Freddy’s games in one year, setting a new world record. The fact that his games were so simple and easy to make meant a lot of people who had never made games before were able to make fan games. Now that Scott’s a millionaire, he’s doing a thing where he’s actually paying people to make fan games. And of course, people are now taking this opportunity to use it against YandereDev. “Scott pays people to make fan games while YandereDev shuts them down!”
Fun fact: YandereDev has never shut down a fan game, but Scott Cawthon has. For example, “Another FNaF Fangame: Open Source” advertised itself as being better than Five Nights at Freddy’s. So, Scott did what just about any game developer would do: he shut it down. He’s done this to many fan games—particularly ones that try to “remake” Five Nights at Freddy’s “but better.” It makes perfect sense to want to defend your property.
I really wish Scott Cawthon would defend YandereDev. It’s likely he doesn’t know how many of his fans are using him as a weapon to destroy YandereDev’s life and career. Otherwise, I imagine he’d try to put a stop to it. He’s a good guy.
Now that Scott’s a millionaire, he’s doing a thing where he’s actually paying people to make fan games.
“Scott pays people to make fan games while YandereDev shuts them down!”
He’s investing his money into these fan franchises, because unlike YandereDev, he cares about them.
*Looks at Watashi no Mono and Love Letter* He tried.
Comparing the FNAF:OS incident to what is happening with Yandere Simulator is not fair. The reason why FNAF:OS got taken down, is because the creator remade Five Nights At Freddy’s and put it out for free. He literally took Scott’s licensed product, along with copyrighted characters, and made a free game out of this. This was not a fangame, but a remake.
If your analogy for this is “People try to remake Yandere Simulator!”, then that might be the case, but “Yandere Simulator remakes” had to (or at least attempt to) make their own characters. They are putting their own spin on the YandereDev’s concept. They’re not using YandereDev’s (non)copyrighted characters in their games, unlike what FNAF:OS was doing. Also, does YandereDev have a legal documentation stating that he has right to “Ayano Aishi”, “Taro Yamada”, “Osana Najimi”, etc.? We haven’t seen it, so we just have to say that YandereDev has no brand to defend.
Also, do you want to know what the FNAF:OS creator is doing? If you followed the news, you probably know that Phisnom, the creator of FNAF:OS, got recruited to work on FNAF 1 remake. Scott personally announced this on Reddit, alongside announcing a collab with fangame FNAF developers.
I really wish Scott Cawthon would defend YandereDev. It’s likely he doesn’t know how many of his fans are using him as a weapon to destroy YandereDev’s life and career. Otherwise, I imagine he’d try to put a stop to it. He’s a good guy.
1. What reason he has to defend YandereDev? YandereDev is opposite to Scott Cawthon, so why should he bother? He has a movie, upcoming games and stories he works on, while having a family he takes care of, for crying out loud!
2. You are aware that people also compare YandereDev to Toby Fox, right? Should he come out and defend someone he doesn’t want to be involved with? Scott doesn’t care about drama that doesn’t involve him. Yandere Simulator isn’t concerning him. Besides, neither Scott or Toby have control over that. The “He’s just another indie developer and FNAF fans use him to shit on YandereDev!” isn’t valid.
Overall, Cleaveland is extremely biased throughout everything he wrote. It seems like he just WANTS to have Scott involved in drama he (Scott) doesn’t care about.
It’s not like he works on upcoming games, helps with movie production, possibly writes another book and helps to get a fangame to get official console release. He should have some free time to indulge in drama that doesn’t involve him in a slightest! /s
That calls for a quote!
“I have no clue what would ever make Cleaveland say something so stupid” - YandereDev, 2020
