is it even coincidential that sonic is from the present, shadow is from the past and silver is from the future? sonic “live life to the fullest while we still can” the hedgehog, shadow “maria, i still remember what i promised you…” the hedgehog and silver “to kill someone to save the world, is that really the right thing to do?“ the hedgehog.

the first one lives in the moment, lives for the present, not worrying about the consequences his actions will bring in the future. he even doesn’t mind playing the bad guy here and then if that entails he’s doing what he thinks is right at the moment. he moves forward because he has to live life now.

the second one is stuck in the past, his present life is determined by his past mistakes, memories engraved into his brain where there’s a thin line between what’s real and what’s fake. he can’t move forward unless he fixes the past’s shortcomings. and even when he does, he can’t help but think about the past, because he has to do what his past self would deem right.

the last one thinks about the future, the consequences his actions will bring. he’s an overthinker, trying to find the best way to reach his goals without catastrophic casualties. he doesn’t linger in the past and only moves forward because that’s what his future self would want, because that’s what will feel right in the future.

So I've basically been not drawing for like.. three days now? Technically nine but I drew one day to see if my wrist was getting better. So far, it's not, which sucks, but I hope it will soon so that I can get to drawing again, I miss art alot right now and I just wanna draw :(
