Its not gone all down the Shitter thanks to Twitter! (company taking a stance on surveillance information transparency)
No magic bean nor supplement can slap my libido into over drive like the sublime news that a big corporation like Twitter have publicly announced that they have filed a law 'tailored 3-piece fuck you' suit against the US bastard government for the rights to inform its users of surveillance and data requests from government organisations.
Ben Lee is Twitter's Vice President and he wrote on the Twitter's blog stating;
“It’s our belief that we are entitled under the first amendment to respond to our users’ concerns,” Lee continued, “and to the statements of US government officials by providing information about the scope of US government surveillance – including what types of legal process have not been received. We should be free to do this in a meaningful way, rather than in broad, inexact ranges."
We all know very well of the intrusion into our private data and mass surveillance strategies but this tactic of making this information available to the public and more importantly the individuals who are being targeted leads to a revolutionary step that will demand big brother corporate puppets like Google to follow suit and give us the power of asking these companies and governments why we are being watched in the first place.
Perhaps your not the countless brainwashed coke drinking, talcum powder sniffing, x-factor watching friend of toothless Sandra from Purley Way subordinate human being they want you to be.
Or perhaps your wide awake and you have questions they don't want to answer.
To put it simply, Twitter you smacked it.
