I have the sickest idea for that 'both reached for the gun trend' problem is its for the desertduo fmab au and only I know the context for it 😭

currently the au that is rotting in my head the most is a bedrockbros and desertduo fmab au

there's a lot to it that I want to make a big masterpost about but I am so far in the trenches that I've drawn multiple pages of a comic for it already 💀

it got so bad that I fully designed these automail wings in the span of like 20 minutes just because I couldn't stop thinking about them

basic gist of it is that tommy and techno preformed human transmutation to try and bring their mom back, things did not go as planned and now technos soul is bound to a set of armor and tommys lost his right arm and left leg and now has automail replacements (courtesy of tubbo who is an automail mechanic in this au)

and now they are trying to find a way to get their original body's back

pretty straightforward for a fmab au, it gets a little weird when it gets to the desertduo half of the au where I have much more freedom to do some interesting things. I won't reveal too much yet but I will say that grian takes a similar role to dr marco but also I took it in a completely different direction and it's not a 1 to 1 translation

been a while since I've posted much here so I just wanna update

any au post mentioning wilbur will be edited to instead have the name willow, it won't change much but I don't want my aus associated with that man. I want to get back to posting about my aus because I still love them and the characters are so far removed from their source material that they are basically my own at this point, I'd just feel uncomfortable still using that name

this change might take a few days so bare with me

that being said if anyone has any questions about any of my aus don't hesitate to send an ask I've been dieing to talk about them more

the fact I haven't made a post calling q!philza an icarus yet is crazy. cause he is the most literal interpretation of one I've ever seen (in roleplay at least) ESPECIALLY after the purgatory finale

phil flew through flames on his breaking wings, only to crash into the sea when they couldn't hold him up any longer

he flew too close to the sun by pushing his wings past their limits carrying not just himself but tubbo aswell.

and while flying through the sky they started burning from the flaming meteors pelting his back, causing his wings to start burning away while also breaking. he was flying too high, but if he had flown any lower he and tubbo would have crashed and burned with the island

and once his wings finally fall apart he crashed into the sea

but in this telling icarus didn't die in the traditional sense, but losing his wings after just getting them back is enough of a punishment for someone who's whole life has been spent in the air

the only way to kill an angel of death is by taking their freedom after all

I don't think the masses are ready for my 'q!tubbo is a robot who was programmed to be human' headcanon but I'm gonna share it anyway

q!tubbo has shown time and time again to not fully understand where other residents are coming from, especially when it comes from a place of logic vs. emotions

and maybe the reason he got so attached to Fred is because Fred is also learning to be human, and it makes q!tubbo feel more human to be around and help him

you see, a robot programed with an impossible task such as 'be human' will seek out the next best thing

but something in his wiring got crossed when Fred was kidnapped, and suddenly his 'be human' task stopped being so impossible, and he started really feeling and the first emotion, for lack of a better word, that he latched onto was anger towards q!quackity

it also explains why he doesn't seem to care as much about physical torture compared to mental. his body can't feel physical pain but it ire as hell can feel the mental pain and anguish that cause him to short-circuit

Now, I had no clue about your god au until I saw the master post with the timeline summary, but god was it good. So, if it hasn’t been asked before, what about purgatory?

And, what about Quackity? What with their… experiences together in Las Nevadas. Are they still a thing in this au?

now for the stuff with quackity. it's touched on a bit in the master post but I'll add a bit to it here

so qsmp happens WAY in the future, and the quackity we see here isn't the same quackity we saw in Las Navadas. instead he is the direct descendant and reincarnation of that original quackity

he of course doesn't remember any of his past lives experiences with the gods, but he does get the feeling that he's met them before. he can't really tell if the feeling is telling him to trust them or not

you see Las navadas quackity HATED the gods because of how cruel they were, even after they reformed and stopped going out of their way to mess with mortals. he could never forgive them for what they were, even when willow attempted to make a mends

so when the gods showed up on the island quesadilla quackity wasn't sure what to make of them, his gut told him not to trust them but they were both so kind to him

for the gods it brings a lot of mixed emotions. because they have the chance to make things right, but at the same time they are scared they will mess things up if they get too close again. willow asked quackity that question that related to their past to see if he remembered anything
