Title and Author: Defy me byĀ Tahereh Mafi
Thoughts so far: From the first book in the series I was sold. I just LOVE her writing style and the characters in the book. With every new book that follows the original trilogy Iām a little nervous that it wil disappoint but she does it every time. Iāve started reading yesterday night and couldnāt put it down. Aaron and Juliette (Ella) are both such well-written characters and there bond keeps me on my toes. Itās a romance that is so so sweet but also not over the top and very relatable. Not to speak of Kenji! I LOVE HIM. He really is my favorite andĀ Iām just desperately hoping she wonāt take him from me!Ā
Try your best to guess how itāll end: I really donāt know. It is still a long way till the end and Iāve got the feeling one (or more) of the key characters is going to die or disappear but if I have to take a guess I think Kenji will gather some reenforcement and try to save Ella. Maybe theyāll even save Emmalineā¦ That would be nice since they both never really had family.
