Diego: Her music is catchy, okay??? I like her lyrics. I feel her lyrics. I admit I am 100% certified T Swift trash. No shame.
Remi: I mean her latest cd the 1989 one I can see that. All her songs on that CD were on point. Besides Shake it Off -- I swear I listen to that song again and I might blow my mind off.
Remi: I am sure Gemma is really proud. -_-
“Heading home and having a good night of sleep after work was what I was aiming for, but okay… what can I help you with?”
“Just point me to Danny and I’ll be out of your hair.”
He looked in the direction she was mentioning and bit his lower lip before turning his attention back to her, realizing he’d met her before. Mouth open to respond, nothing came out but he nodded nevertheless, a rushed smile forcing itself on his face. “Thanks. That’d actually be super helpful.” He tilted his head, smiling down at her before he started walking. Tucking his hands into his pants, something he usually did when he was feeling anxious, he looked back over at her, offering a hand. “I think we’ve met. ‘M not great with names, but I’m not bad with faces, either.” He chuckled quietly. “Roman.”
”I’m Remi” Usually she gave people her last name but ever since she started working the case and getting threatening letters she did her best to avoid that. Mostly because Derick had told her to be careful, so for once in her life she was doing just that. Doing her job but at the same time making sure she didn’t step on any toes and get herself or her family into trouble. “And you have nothing to apologize for. I think the fact that I have lived in this town for more than half of my life has managed to save me from that problem, and learning a couple of names here and there is a lot easier than being swamped with them.” She said as she kept a steady pace with him.
“Well you lawyer types all have to have a vice, right” she laughed as she shoved her hands into her pockets. “My dad’s a closet smoker and I’m sure half of his legal chambers have some sort of dirty little secret or another. I started years ago. Since I left the Air Force” Jools sighed, giving a roll of her eyes. “It’s on-off, y’know…just a thing I pick up when I’m stressed and then put it down again. But this time it’s apparently harder to pack it in. Maybe it’s an indication I ought to go back to the shrink…”
”No we do not.” Remi said in a firm tone as she shook her head sideways collectively, before a smile cracked her stern exterior and she laughed softly, “I’m kidding. I think we’re third when it comes to drinking and drug addictions? So I can’t judge you at all. I was just wondering because I have never seen you smoke before and you know I have to know everything. Kidding again. I am just trying to make small talk and I obviously suck at it. Can tell you that I haven’t been outside a courtroom in forever.”
“I think that is a little too much…”
“And what gives you that idea?”
I feel like if you and I attempt to work in the kitchen together then we might blow it up or something. Not to be offensive or anything, but two terrible cooks in one kitchen? Catastrophe! —What! Is there really a show out there like that? I mean, I could see it, given they have all these shows about the best cooks, but I had no idea the other existed. You should definitely go on it. See how far you get.
We would be the two that would create a bomb in Charleston and not even be meaning to do so. Not offensive at all. Derick tends to grab Noah and run whenever i try to do anything in the kitchen so kinda shows you how offensive some people can be -- though it is true I am the worst cook out there. There is -- I was watching it on Netflix when I was bored and had no work -- which I know tends to be a rare combo. We should probably go together, double our chances of winning.

Derick: And yet, you've decided to keep me around, ballsy girl you are, Reagan. I'm sure we could find one. Just don't really want to be -- my family. Guess that would be the best way to put it.
Derick: Allie's married. -- She's too young. She has not even began to live her life yet. And I think she's confused. That or this is some shit plan for Nicholas. In which is just fucking great. A Reagan would never get married without telling the rest, right? Why is your family so weird -- and by weird, I mean normal?
Remi: Because even when we are together we have done our best to keep our fights behind doors -- or inside elevators and collect ourselves. I don't know -- I just don't want my life on magazines, never did. And I am not saying that we lie I guess -- I don't know.
Remi: She's married? She's 23 years old -- shit I forgot her birthday was on the 4th this month. Think I can still send a birthday gift? Or would it be a wedding present? Have you asked her if it is a plan or something real? Because we -- I guess my family just never been into the dramatics, Derick and my father is the police commissioner. So that should say it all. Sorry we're normal?

Derick: Ah, right, you've got a public image to uphold now. Promise me we will never be one of those families who have to be picture perfect, give me that, and I'll happily keep guard as you're kicking ass. I'm seeing your dad, Danny following right after.
Derick: If two town favorites end up MIA, you'd be my alibi, right? Because you adore me, and what not?
Remi: That I do. Kind of goes with my work. I don't think I want to be perfect but I don't think I want to hang up all of our dirty laundry up for the world to see. Is there a perfect medium in there? Yeah I thought it would go like that.

Remi: SeeI would just have to lure them somewhere safe and private because what would the headlines read if the DA ended up in that kind of behavior? I can already see it. I can already imagine my father storming into my office actually. Well who do you think would be first, my dad or Danny?
