Are you neurodivergent or have a very questioning mind? Do you feel like LOA isn't the correct fit for you? If telling yourself "I am in my DR right now," makes you feel crazy then I have the solution for you!!
Affirming skill and identity rather than physical surroundings.
Now, I'm not saying that affirming you're in your DR doesn't work. I am saying that it doesn't feel right for some people, especially neurodivergent people (like myself), whose brains are always questioning everything. And that's okay, we all shift differently.
Instead of saying the usual affirmations, let's affirm another way!
"Regardless of everything, I can still shift with ease."
"Shifting is inevitable."
"Despite everything, I still identify as a master shifter."
"Shifting keeps getting easier and easier for me."
"I allow myself to shift as naturally as I breathe."
"It is possible for me to shift whenever I want, however I want."
These are just a few examples of affirmations that I use and they focus mainly on your ability to shift and your self concept when it comes to shifting.
You're still using LOA but now it doesn't feel like such a daunting task. The ability to shift is not a physical thing that you can touch or see, so when you affirm for it, it's easier to believe in your mind that it has changed immediately.
Of course, you don't need belief for LOA but I find it more enjoyable when I don't have to fight my brain and my feelings to affirm for my desires.
You actually, truly, don't need anything to shift. You don't need methods, you don't need belief or mindset, you don't need subliminals, etc. If you decided right now that you shift every night or that you shift with every blink even, that assumption will harden into fact and it will become your reality.
My own results with this method:
I shifted in two nights of affirming "I don't need anything to shift. Shifting is so easy I do it in my sleep." Woke up in my better CR then immediately got zapped back here for some reason. But a win is a win.
it's not surprising shiftblr has a bigotry problem that is becoming more and more apparent. this community is comprised mainly of white, cis, neurotypical & abled, straight/straight-passing girls. and problem with that is they will silence any attempt at a minority person calling out bigotry within the community because it "hurts their feelings" or it "seemed mean to them". the privaledged majority is effectively placing their feelings being hurt as more important than any bigotry going on in the community.
i was gonna make a reblog joking that i'm sure, that those girls are gonna probably react to this post by playing victims & claiming they're "the ones actually being oppressed" for being called out on their bigotry. but then stumbled upon this in the wild:
those homophobic, racist white girls are really going "actually, we're being oppressed by you speaking out against our bigotry towards poc and queer people". also, i "love" the accidental implication that queer women supposedly don't exist. apparently i and bunch of other queer women on shiftblr got thanos snapped out of existance.
i also wanted to add, i find it ironic how some shifters can be so racist when it was a black woman (or black women? i'm not sure, i remember one black woman who was shifting to atlantis, but i think there was a few of them) that brought shifting from amino to tiktok. most of us probably wouldn't even know about shifting if it wasn't for poc women

𖹭 ֶָ֢ notebooks & pencil case ⋮ you never know when inspiration strikes. i have three notebooks — one for my personal songwriting, one for miscellaneous notes and ideas, and a sketchbook. as for the pencil case, inside i have a mechanical pencil and five pens in different colours. i like having my ideas sorted by colour.
𖹭 ֶָ֢ current read & e-reader ⋮ i'm always reading something. more often than not it's a classic, but i can appreciate a good romance or fantasy too. i like to have a variety in the books i read, so i always read two or three books at the same time. i carry a physical book as well as an e-reader so that i can choose whatever i'm in the mood for at the moment.
