Bugs Bunny Thoughts

Because this rabbit has ISSUES.

The thumb of Warner Bros may not be as strict or as controlling as Disney, but Bugs Bunny never feels completely safe there either. Warner Bros has had too many shakeups in the past few years for him to trust them, too many mis-handlings and bad decisions, and this latest WB-Paramount Deal is stressing everyone out. And who has to be the one to bear the brunt of it? Him and the Looney Tunes.

Speaking of the Looney Tunes, he's the leader figure for practically every Tune there, and that job WEIGHS on him more than any corporate thumb ever could. Sure, the Tunes can handle themselves for the most part but he's also the one they look towards when they need real reassurance. Reassurance that Porky and/or Granny can't always give them. And Bugs HAS to be there because without him, who else will?

Bugs NEVER breaks down, NEVER loses control, because what then? Who could be there for him? No one, that's who. He doesn't need nobody. He's Bugs Bunny. He's built a living upon being untouchable. So he keeps on joking, keeps on smiling because that's what he knows. It's what he does best. Can't break the act after all.
