He would relate to them. Like REALLY relate…..

He was abandoned and in a way, kinda used as a weapon?? I mean the Jews wanted Him to be their king so they could get rid of the Romans. And He technically lived His life knowing He would die a painful, horrible death for ppl who would hate Him.

So. He would love both of them but show more comfort towards Shadow cause BOY does he need it

As the local theology AND Sonic nerd this feels like providence and I feel very qualified to talk about it yes.

Thinking within the framework of a meeting between them, Shadow would probably need to be dragged to something like that, depending on his level of information on Him, while Amy would likely come of her own accord since "wise miracle worker" seems to be right up her alley.

Both of them would likely have a good time...as much of a good time you could have listening to "you actually suck you're going to hell" (read the gospel of Matthew, especially 5-7 and 24-25), and I think Shadow would actually have his interest piqued more than Amy, since it would probably prove intelectually stimulating and he would spend half of the time thinking "Maria would have loved to listen to Him." Plus, he would probably have at least a small interest in fighting the God-Man (and sorry shads you aren't allat you don't got this 💔).

In a more 1-on-1/2 situation, Jesus would probably get him disturbed with his seemingly encyclopedic knowledge on his past like the woman at the well, and tensions would likely rise as He gets to the core of His message. The whole radical philosophy that Jesus proposes, one of radical self-denial, generosity, turning the other cheek, and love towards Him and The Father so great that all other love would appear like hate, would likely ressonate with Amy more than it would with Shadow.

Jesus would likely commend Amy's kindhearted nature and Shadow's choice to ultimately do good and protect the world, but He would certainly have a couple of very stern rebukes, and like everyone else, He would tell them to turn away from their sins and follow Him.

Kinda makes me wanna come late to that whole "Sonic and the Son of God" trend eons too late since I don't trust social media peeps to handle that without gnosticism or heretical christology.
