Trial and Error (Disciple and Terezi)
It wasnât always easy for Terezi to hide her support of the rebellion.  Having constantly been in contact with people who genuinely hated it, sheâd gotten more used to how to act in such a manner.  That didnât mean it was constantly the first thing on her mind.  In fact, a while back when Tomori was screaming at Herana  in the common room, she knew she was pushing it a bit by trying to get the handmaid to stop.  But in all honesty, most people she knew wouldnât have minded such a thing, given Tomoriâs reputation in the hold anyway.
The tealblood figured now would be a good time to work on that. Â Sheâd elected to take a bit of a risk this time around by renting Herana herself, then practicing how to act with her. Â She needed to find a happy medium that hid her support of the rebellion, but wasnât overly harmful toward the members, least of all the leaders. Â This would be the perfect way to get her edge back! Â Once she arrived at the discipleâs door she gave it a few knocks. Â She stepped back and breathed deeply but quietly, mentally preparing herself to get to observing.
Herana had long since stopped paying attention during the auctions, staring glazed eyed over the crowd as they placed their bets on her. It was demeaning. As though they were little more than cattle. But it required no thought. So when it comes to being collected, she had no idea who it was going to be, the Disciple glancing up from her book as they knock.
At least they were polite enough to do that. She shuts the book with a muffled snap and stands up, relieved at least that her chest is most the way healed now. Though the scars would remain. She opens the door with a blank expression, book under her arm though her brow does quirk when she sees who it is. The little Redglare in training. The tealbloods mini-me. âGood aftpurrnoon, Terezi, I take it you were the one to rent me.â
