I swear I’m not trying to sound pretentious here but I fuckin LOVE it whenever something from Clone Wars or Rebels pops up somewhere else (i.e. Saw in Rogue One, Maul being alive in Solo, Inquisitors and Nightsisters in Fallen Order, and now the Darksaber in The Mandalorian) and people who don’t watch the cartoons think they’re brand new concepts and are like “what the hell is this what’s going on I wanna learn more about this” while those of us who have been keeping up with the cartoons for over a decade now are just like “you gotta be in the know to know you know”

everyone's taking about mandalorian parents adopting kids but not about mandalorian kids adopting new parents. clan wren are just like "yeah that checks" when Sabine shows up with a whole second set of family, parents and a little brother like she had with them, because shit went down with the empire stuff, and even when they made up with eachother Sabine still has two entire families and everyone's chill with it. theyre probably like "are you gonna invite your other parents over? is your uncle zeb and his husband coming too? how many plates do we need to set at the table?"
