Actually the whole team loved them. We will definitely keep this up - there are some plans of a programming language change since the uni course this project was originally forended yesterday and we are more free now. But no matter where the behind the scenes journey goes we will keep working and hopefully sharing screenshots, stories and sneak peaks with all of you along the way!!!

Update
Hello World from the Rebleyama development team!
Time for another update. You might remember the issues we had with the master branch. That bug appears to be fixed, though some calls need to be adapted to work with the fixed class. Long tech talk story short: We are finally ready to add several of our working branches to the master and therefore take a huge step towards a first game play stage.
Over the course of today the following features should be added to the main: Mini Map, Main Menu and stat bars at the screen bottom. You might recall all those features from the mock-ups we realised a few weeks ago. Actual in-game screenshots will follow as soon as a successful merge has been done.
Another update from the Rebleyama Team.
Things are starting to come together while we are working on several different aspects at once. Several branches have been opened, some already ready for a merge with the master branch, some still hard at work.
Hopefully there will also be more screenshots of the actual game to share soon.
First look at UI
Last week we shared some first looks at the look and feel of the game UI when we published our mockups. Now a week later we really got into implementing those ideas. There is still a bit of work to be done, but things are moving along fast.
The semester is coming closer to an end and so the development of Rebleyama moves faster and faster as well. We really hope to be able to show more and more of the gameplay as we continue our effort to release a basic gameplay version by the end of May.
Hello from the Rebleyama Development Team
We had quite a busy week implementing the first basic UI elements as well as doing some more work on the server. To keep everyone posted on what’s going on here the mockup for our UI planning. So far these are stand-in pictures for the map and mini-map, however you are getting first glimpses at the basic building and some resources down in the menu.
Another small announcement for this morning: Our amazing artist has decided to join tumblr. Her blog @chriscreativecorner is of course still a work in progress, but if you liked our cover art and icon I highly recommend you follow her for more.
Ok. To be completely 2000% honest... I totally love the idea of this game and totally want to play it. Also, I love the art for it. Notifications for this have been set too! Anyways... Can't wait for it!

Our first SCRUM sprints comes to a close tomorrow and I personally feel like we really achieved something over the last few weeks. Unfortunately there is not much to show yet screenshot-wise, but I promise to keep everyone posted on updates and new developments.

Rebleyama - A new horizon
In the year 2418, you are part of the few brave souls that set out on a journey through space to colonise a far-away earth-like planet. While trying to land on this foreign rock, your crew loses control over the craft and has to initiate the emergency landing procedure. As the ship hits the ground, the beacon is damaged and your FTL connection to earth is lost. Fortunately the ship's computer is still intact. It can synthesize a lot of technologies, as long as it is provided with the basic materials needed for their construction. You set out to to collect first resources and repair the beacon, to restore contact with earth, as this is your only chance to get more advanced blueprints and request more colonists. In the meantime it is your goal to claim this world as your own by building Farms, Accommodations and Defence systems.
