this loneliness casts an echo in the cavern of my soul...

thought of the day:
it is better to be alone than feel the need to squeeze into a box you weren't created to be in just so people feel comfortable around you...
"Fear is always humiliating, for it shows naked insecurity. To show insecurity is to strip man of his dignity. What is dignity? A camouflage of importance"
-insert from The Art of Creative Writing by Lajos Egri
I have so many book ideas but so little motivation/time to write them...
your inability to accept change is devastatingly immature.

it's strange to see a room so empty
one that was overflowing with tension, mumbled words, gnashing teeth, genuine life or death situations day by day...
now the silence has become warped.
my ears ache as I try to pick up the sound of disappointment. there is none.
-recklesssensation
How can one approach another and say,
"you're making me feel so small"
"you're making me feel paralyzed"
"you're making me feel as if I need to fit into your box of acceptability"
And its DAMN exhausting

I saw you
you saw me
I took a shot
cold glass pressed between my fingers
flames erupting in my throat
just to drown you out

As I was reading Howl's Moving Castle...I couldn't help myself but point this out....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes, evil....evil Calcifer....he will burn your bacon AND eggs....
Pain surrounds us like poison herbs. Yet in this forest, an antidote peacefully resides. Healing is also found.

Without love, actions are worthless. Stones are tossed, instead refined into diamonds.

what's that saying---the pen is mightier than the sword?
I dont mean to raise my voice or raise my hand
but when it comes to a divide
it is clear to see the sides
one wants justice for those whose personal history reeks and seeps in their own blood, sweat, and tears
from young to old
from ages past to present moments (let that sink in)
and all of this just due to our skin
death in streets
death in homes
death in alleys
death under hateful eyes
death under the blazing sun
death under the setting sun
death under the sleeping sun
death around every corner
yet here we stand
wanting better
wishing death to leave its generation to generation curse behind
why must this fight be considered unacceptable when those in snow skin claim what they want in a couple words or less
what was once considered holy and just has been vandalized, looted, tainted by those who caused the sweat, blood, and tears of past years (and I pray no more)
skin---
bronze, rose, snow, amber, sunset, buttercup, blush, golden, brass, copper, oak, lily, sienna, sun-kissed, chestnut, mahogany, sunglow, goldenrod, saffron, cashmere, silk...
we are part of a glorious cosmos yet---
why do we fight over such things that should be considered beautiful and awe-inspiring and have no power to hold one high and lower another
love
skin
love
wait
hope
and that unrelenting question
Why?
I am not yet a rose in glorious bloom, but will you still love me for the ancient thorns I possess while I bud?
-recklesssensation
These past nights I've been thinking, dreaming, pondering this one simple question. Was loving you a sin? Was loving you a crime with unforgivable consequences? Was love really worth it? Love? Will it always be worth the agony? And all I can say is, yes. Yes it was.

A distracted heart creates a cold, distant soul and a broken body.

Is it the fear of the truth that holds me back from becoming who I am meant to be and how others already percieve me?
-recklesssensation
The vast emptiness of ones mind can send one into an unreliquished peace or spiraling into agonizing personal turmoil.
