What is true happiness? I still have to discover it myself. Sure, there are days where the sun shines brighter and breaks through dense clouds, yet there seems to be beauty in waking up to a gentle rain, tapping away at your window. Happiness? I don't think there is one correct way to finalize such a feeling when there are multiple ways of portraying an emotion so strong and intense.

If anything, the moon taught me to love the darkness, the light, and the uncertain gray within myself.

There are days when its hard to find the value and worth of your soul, but just please remember this. No one can compare a block of gold to a blooming flower. No one can compare a soothing rain shower to the warm rays from the sun. No one can compare the glorious rainbow to the individual blades of grass between your feet. Worth and value are all around you. None taking over another. None. Beauty cannot be measured. And neither can you.

Oh, how I would love to dance into a morning fog and hear the crashing waves on the sand. To feel the icy water brush over my feet and breathe in the air that soothes any straining soul.

How frustrating and irritating it is to remain calm when your fingers spark and dance with electricity and the only comfort is the distant rolling thunder.

The pouring rain reminds me that even in moments of foreseen darkness and uncomfortable situations, healing, cleansing, growth, and new ways of life come from such a seemingly negative circumstance.
