It's been going alright, Dr Lecter's therapy has helped, as much as it can, at least. I'm not surprised you've kept up, most people have, especially with the attention Freddie has garnered me, can't say I'm exactly thankful.

Yes of course, I totally get it! I'm Cassius Flynnt with the Cyber Division. I work mostly with cybercrimes rather than the whole poking at dead bodies thing in-person but uh, I guess I've dissected my fair share of digital gore. I'll say anyone can be smart at this! You're probably smart in stuff I'm not.

Glad to hear you've been better, not so much the spotlight on you but sadly that tends to be the case with most crimes. Especially one as.. objectively unique? As in your case. But it'll die down soon enough when new cases bury this one. Dr. Lecter sounds rather familiar...

It's great! All that I could ever ask for from a job honestly. Of course it's not much like the movies, but I get to do some pretty badass stuff, ahem, legally. Everyone on the team's been real nice too, so I'm thankful for that. Helps with the whole settling in.

What drew you to fiber analysis though? Seems like a pretty niche thing.

most of them have. not literally, but metaphorically. sometimes we have to walk on eggshells when we're around them.

ah, many people are inspired by tv shows. they do a lot of heavy lifting while to pursue people in law enforcement, more than we give them credit for.

parties are so rare in our line of work, i get you. and the ones held at the office, out of courtesy, are thinly veiled networking events. i don't attend them, unless i'm dragged to attend them.

Well as a new hire I need to unfortunately dip my toes in a bit of networking, but luckily I don't seem to have a problem with that.

i'm glad you like it here. it takes a toll on people, i mean, i wouldn't expect any less from working in such a morbid place. always nice to find a positive point from working here, aka, "do the badass stuff".

huh, it's a pretty lame story. i took it on a whim. i was always told i had a keen eye and good observation skills. turning the question back at you though, what drew you to the cyber division at the fbi?

Yeahh, tell me about it. Some of the seniors look like they've completely lost their souls. It's definitely scary to think I might end up like that someday, but well, one day at a time.

Fair enough! Well for me I've always been interested in computers and such, and I've watched far too much CSI and Criminal Minds haha. Also- I just think it's a cool flex y'know? I think I could sacrifice some sanity to be that cool guy at parties. Not that I, uh, get invited to many. Or have time to accept said invitations.

Congratulations, it's a tough job to get into. I hear the training is brutal. I'm not particularly fond of feds, but I can respect that much.

Acquaintance? Sure, why not. He doesn't tell me much about his teaching days, so I would love to hear anything and everything about it. Particularly if you have any interesting or funny stories I can hold over his head. Or photos.

Brutal but nothing short of exciting though. I wasn't a big fan of the rigid schedule and the early mornings and the food.. and a few units.. but all that aside, can't complain much when I'm livin' the dream.

Given your special relationship with Mr. Graham, I'm sure he'll tell you about it in due time. You're very fond of one specific fed haha.
