**Akagi && Elsie**
@redmovntain liked for a starter
It originally started off as a kind gesture for an old man. But after people continued to come, Elsie came to realize that holding the door opened had been a dumb move. People continued to pile through the door–this might have been a rush to come to the mall–but the people just wouldn’t stop.
How could she just stop? The door would slam into somebody’s face. And that would be rude! She sighed. This was going to take forever.
Elsie’s lips pursed together the longer she stood here. She just wanted to look around at all the clothes! She sighed once again and put a smile on her face. “I just wanna go,” she murmured through her forced smile.
The mall was always so crowded during weekends, but Akagi had very little time to actually look around instead of going straight to work, so she put up with it. As she neared the entrance, she noticed a girl holding open the door and wanting to look like she could disappear into thin air. The poor thing. What started out as a nice gesture escalated into this.
"Are you alright?” Akagi approached her, putting a warm smile. “I do believe you can lock the door into place if you pull it open this far. I’ve seen guards do it before,” she placed a gentle hand on the girl’s shoulder and pulled the door open with the other far enough so that it locked and stayed open. “There we are. See?”
