Hear me out for hybrid ideas- barely realistic but it makes sense in my head

Say you have a bird/avian hybrid for a human. You can add bat traits as they're the only TRUE flying mammal..

For others like marine animals (non-mammals), add traits to the relating marine mammal species.

Sounds weird but makes sense?? If you're human and a hybrid- you're still having mammal traits, you're not suddenly turning cold blooded! Or whatever.
