Hey yall! I don’t know how many of yall were watching the stream, but Sean said he hasn’t put any actual ego hints in videos for a while now, and that most of the spooky things he’s done in horror games has been purely for the spookiness of it, and got nothing to do with ego stuff!
This is why I’m not quick to jump to hints and theories. He plays with horror elements in the games because he likes “spooky shit and narrative”, he doesn’t choose the games to fit the egoverse. It’s easy to read into and link into egoverse, but he said doing that gets you hyped unnecessarily and you burn out without there even being an actual hint put out.
He wants it done right, but Covid put a huge delay on plans, so he’s not doing anything with it right now. He does read posts and understand people’s concerns with it, but hints and glitches etc were never meant to be a means to an end. They’re supposed to be enjoyed for what they are in the present. The egos, Anti especially, are ‘always there’ so there doesn’t need to be a climax to every little “still here” glitch. Just because October 16 had one doesn’t mean they should all have one or be considered ‘pointless’.
The spooks are fun, but please don’t burn yourselves out. Don’t make demands of big appearances just because there was a glitch in a horror game that uses glitches. Yes, ‘edging’ is exhausting, but you’re essentially doing that to yourself. Take a breath. Enjoy the content for what it is. Enjoy the spooks for what they are.
Given that hes told us that he’s not putting out hints right now, I’m sure that when he does start ego shit going again we will be left with absolutely no doubt that it’s starting.

I know I’ve made posts, or reblogged things myself, but know I’ve deliberately not interacted with nearly as many posts as I could going over “stuff” happening.
Coincidences do happen. Black or white answers exist, but so much is gray area; and that’s where a ton of theorizing comes into play of deciding whether something is actually happening or not.
I’m so glad Jack addressed this, and we can enjoy the edits as just cool extra things that add to videos.
(I’m not trying to hijack this post, but I have been wanting to write something like this ^ for a long time. Theorizing about “gray area” recently no longer excites me like it used to, which is fine. Jack knows, he KNOWS how much people want ego content. But I honestly believe (in the future) he will make it very obvious when something is happening, but in this world and these times is not the right timing.
And when people are excited, it’s easy to misinterpret or see “what you want to be seeing” something that actually means nothing in the ego-sense.)
