We are delighted to announce the birth of our eighth zinebabe, born into this world on May 1st, May Day/International Workers' Day. Many thanks & cat-kisses to all of you (so many of you!) who submitted to this special quaran-zine. As always, we are so impressed with your talent and grateful to you for sharing your work with us. Much love to everyone who sent us photos of your home office setups as well--you make our hearts full.

In addition to accepting our usual submissions, we want to know how you are faring during this pandemic. If you feel inclined, please write back and answer any or all of the questions below. We plan to include your responses in our upcoming issue ~
- new routines you've created during this time
- old routines that you miss most
- new ways in which you've bonded with your pets
- stay-at-home makeup or fashion looks
- new recipes you've attempted and/or conquered
- your makeshift home office setups
- ways to accept/combat boredom
- book, movie, television show, music, game, or Instagram account recommendations
- exceptional or unusual interactions with friends/family/roommates/neighbors (positive or negative)
- ways you're helping your neighbors, community and/or small businesses
Responses will be accepted from everyone*, and can be anonymous if you prefer (just let us know).
*meaning we're opening this up to all folk, not just womxn
Dearest Salamanders, Star-Gazers & Sand Cats:
We hope that you and yours are staying safe and healthy in these unusual and uncertain times. It's been a while since our last issue, but since starting self-quarantine and social distancing, we have come to realize how much we've missed your beautiful selves.
We will be releasing our 8th issue on Wednesday, April 22nd: the 112th day of the year of the Gregorian calendar, Earth Day, and also the birthday of Lenin.
Please send us your submissions by Friday, April 17th.
We can't wait to meet your creations. In the meantime, please enjoy this soothing capybara onsen and lovely cave salamander attached for stillness inspiration.
