poe helping out ranpo constantly is the funniest thing ever to me. every other redeemed charachter gets a clearcut ending like kyouka is a legitimate member of the agency and lucy is a waitress but wtf is poe doing? is he getting paid? is this freelance? is he doing this just for love of the game? the agency is going through horrors incomprehensible and he’ll wander onscreen like yes, hello, i’m here to help solve your problems because my “rival” told me to. goodbye. and then he just fucking leaves

Day 8: pillow princess

Tim being a freaky but affectionate scientist.

It starts with a casual question from Tim. The YJ is currently just sat down in their headquarters, lazing around.

Tim asks Kon, “Do you have a low pain tolerance?” And everyone just pauses.

“Uhh I would say so? Why?” Kon answers after thinking.

“It’s just this case about torture and I was just wondering.” Tim says, going back to his case. The rest of YJ is kind of confused because okay? Why did he have to ask Kon out of all people?

It happens again, though. When they’re at a mission, he randomly asks Kon if he can see well in the dark.

“Yeah, I think I have better night vision than most humans.” Kon answers with no questions.

Tim does not stop there.

“I can read faster than usual people.”

“No, I don’t really sweat.”

“Maybe I do think faster than the average human brain. I don’t really know though.”

Tim always ask these and nods along to the answer, keeping a mental note. He always remembers Kon’s answers.

One day Kon is sweating, Tim immediately scans the area for kyrptonite and basically saves Kon because there was a sniper.

“I.. did not know that was a sign of kryptonite.”

Tim shrugs, and hugs Kon because he’s safe.

I just had a thought: Steve gets kicked out of home in his final year of high school by his parents, but is trying to hide it. Eddie is ranting to Wayne at home about how rich and entitled Steve is. And Wayne is like "Eds, you know I volunteer at the Hawkin's Food Bank?" "Yeah, so?" "So, Steve Harrington has been getting groceries from us every Thursday. Why would he queue up for an hour every week if he was still getting everything on a silver platter?"
