Shoutout to weird girls who became weird boys and weird boys who became weird girls and weird girls and boys who became both or neither. Let's all be weird and strange together
goodbye straight people
unfortunately i can never hate on a "power of friendship" narrative no matter how corny because the thing is it's literally real
trying to explain why i like horror to people who don’t: ok so you know how it’s fun to be deeply disturbed and unsettled
Racism in fandom spaces is actually insanely bad and if you ever try to downplay or avoid conversations about it because "fandom is supposed to be fun" then I'm not sorry to say this: You're adding on to the problem.
If POC speaking up about a fandom's racism issue offends you more than the racism itself, you need to think about that. You need to think about how POC fighting racism offends you more than the racism.
Furries, next time you see someone call their fursona a herm(aphrodite) please fucking correct them. If enough people do it, intersex people might actually be able to participate in the fandom without seeing goddamn slurs everywhere. It's exhausting. It contributes to people believing fetishistic misinformation about real intersex people.
Tell people to use bigenital, salmacian, or dualsex, instead. If they're looking for a more scientific and less fiction-centric term, suggest cosexed, gonosimulite, or monoecious.
This is not difficult. Do better. Stop saying hermaphrodite.
if you vote me for president i vow to make everything the ocean again. no more land only ocean. this will solve all of our problems and replace them with new, far more interesting problems
could you imagine if it happened this pride month
happy birthday gay people
how to tell mutual hey i think ur really cool we should talk more but like also im bad at talking and am always exhausted
taking off my dive helmet to reveal that i’m actually the sakhalin island sea wolf
going to the nail salon is nice and all but you also have to be subjected to the opinions of racist and out of touch old white women
the grocery store should be open 24/7 but they should let the employees go home and just trust us
not every mutual fits neatly into an archetypal medievalism but there are some mutuals that im like yeah addressing you as “my liege” would come strangely naturally
what mutual is prev
my liege lord
my loyal knight
my wise wizard
my evil advisor
my brother in arms
my lady muse
my wild mermaid friend
my fellow alchemist
my dashing rapscallion
my monstrous foe
when you have inconsistent periods sometimes they’ll come back with a vengeance, but other times it’ll be like you having an argument with someone, they leave for a few minutes, then they come back like “AND ANOTHER THING”. it’s not vengeful or violent but it’s still a pain in the ass and not something you want to deal with. like move on and fuck off already
i mean yeah saying this as a christian you have no right and should absolutely not be going around colonizing, subjugating, and murdering people in the name of god. but to also completely brush off what christianity has done to so many cultures and people in history and today is both ignorant and dangerous. you cannot go around saying "well the bible doesn't actually teach that" and expect things to be hunky dory. you cannot sweep these things under a rug based on what you think should've happened instead. you cannot dismiss the generations of horror and torment that people have faced because of our god. you cannot try to put a bandaid on it by saying "well we have woke teachers and pastors now both irl and in public television", because while having that is good, it's not the solution you should expect every or even anyone to want.
actually that first sentence is a bit of a lie because i'm not even traditionally christian or decently so. i have a couple core beliefs, right, but there's things that i don't believe or want to ever consider suggesting to someone- not because i don't believe it, but because why in the ever loving fuck would you scare someone, especially a CHILD, with the concept of hell and how it works.
