when i was younger i used to get such bad fomo watching tom and jerry and i constantly fantasized about being chased around and chasing someone around and setting elaborate traps for my said other half to her stuck in. i wanted to be an engineer at one point solely for the sliver of a possibility that i could grow up and make elaborate traps like tom and jerry do. i really wanted to be there with them and experience both sides of this relationship they had like i just wanted in on that. i used to dream that i could be Jerry's mouse friend visiting for a week or like one of the alley cats that Tom hangs with and I could just be there.
