Blender is an excellent freeware 3D renderer,possibly better than After Effects

Audacity to replace Audition (I also received a free version of Pro Tools with my Scarlett Solo audio interface)

If Adobe is going to be greedy shitheads, then fuck ‘em. Don’t use their stuff. Freeware can be just as good, if not better, than Adobe CC.

My heart cracked a little when I read the announcement this morning. My soul aches for her family and the artists and creators who knew her well.

I see people and even some psychologist alike say that there is no such thing as ADHD or that it is just a myth or that every child has it. It is an actual neurodevelopmental disorder where the individual tends to lack either dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine, or the combination of. It affects areas of the brain that help you solve problems, plan ahead, understand others' actions/intentions, and control impulses. I'm glad you discuss and breakdown these topics in depth for people to easier understand it and provide helpful coping mechanisms and tips for those of us with ADHD. Thank you very much for this.

I know that this doesn’t really fit in my blog, but I want people to know this. Ecosia is a search engine like google, but all profits go to planting trees all over the world. Not only do they help prevent climate change, but also poor families in need of new cacoa plants for example. The only thing you have to do is install this app and search!

Exalting...

I know there is a lot of negative stigma and views of death over exalting. However I view exalting as a dragon getting a job or groomed to get a job (hatchlings) via working for their deity in some honorable way (which differs per deity). The dragon being exalted gets paid a sign-on bonus (like with some irl jobs) which they humbly give a share to clanmates for giving them temporary shelter and food before leaving.

I can imagine an 'honorable' job as a stirrer for plague's Wyrmwound. Somebody's gatta stir that soup!

Canada begins paying basic income to citizens

Canada is testing a basic income to discover what impact the policy has on unemployed people and those on low incomes. The province of Ontario is planning to give 4,000 citizens thousands of dollars a month and assess how it affects their health, wellbeing, earnings and productivity. It is among a number of regions and countries across the globe that are now piloting the scheme, which sees residents given a certain amount of money each month regardless of whether or not they are in work.

“Ontario’s Premier, Kathleen Wynne, said this was a major factor in the decision to trial a basic income in the province. She said: “I see it on a daily basis. I go into a factory and the floor plant manager can tell me where there were 20 people and there is one machine. We need to understand what it might look like if there is, in fact, the labour disruption that some economists are predicting."“
