hiii !! i’m doing my final thesis on hannibal and the show’s depiction of food and aesthetics, but i need to complete a survey and it still needs about 50 responses :/
it’s really about how beauty can be brutal (beauty is terror yk) and attractive at the same time. i’ve always had a complicated relationship with the food in hannibal because it looks good but there’s a moral dilemma of knowing where the food came from
anyway !! i hope to explore more about the ambiguity of it all and how food can serve a place of power depending on context
