“And yet your little search came up fruitless.” He can’t help the mild taunting a wry smirk on his lips as he walked further into the room letting the echo of his boots bounce off the walls before taking a seat, crossing one leg over the other and regarding her.

“Not really, though I did already rummage through your files to find nothing I don’t already know. So I guess you could say I enjoy bothering you.”

“It’s amusing...” He pauses for a moment to let the darkness of his tone fill the air around them, his usually stoic expression replaced with one that shows just how amusing it is. “That you’d think a man in my position would still keep things of any pertinence tucked away in a file that leaves it vulnerable to those without restraint.”
