āThe initiative of both parties is the basis for the survival of the relationshipā
He was an activist who inspired millions to fight for their rights. He knew what was wrong with our country and risked his life to help his people achieve equality. Ā In the society where black were treated like animal he did everything possible to change this. His brave soul, his will and courage changed the history of America , changed the people. He made us believe we can win this war. He payed for it with his life. He will always be remembered.
this should be reblogged everyday just so people can know that black rage is always justified. always.

Haku, listen. I just remembered something from a long time ago - I think it may help you. Once, when I was little, I dropped my shoe into a river. When I tried to get it back, I fell in. I thought Iād drown, but the water carried me to shore. It finally came back to me. The riverās name was the Kohaku River. I think that was you, and your real name is Kohaku River.
SPIRITED AWAY (2001)
Worked up this illustration of a couple I saw on the train a few weeks back⦠I embellished a little on the design; the guy wasnāt as built, & neither wore gold, but both carried a powerful sense of pride about them⦠People couldnāt take their eyes off them⦠I loved that.

AS IN THIS CHRISTOPHER ECCLESTON???
The self-described working-class actor also says that cultural inequality is āmuch more pronouncedā in Britain than it used to be, and that it would be difficult for a young actor with his background to succeed in the industry today.
āYou canāt blame Eddie Redmayne or Benedict Cumberbatch but inequality will lead to a milky, anodyne culture. To an extent thatās already happened,ā he argues.
Eccleston stresses that itās not just about the working class though. āThereās not enough writing for women or people of colourā he says. āIt frustrates me when they insist on doing all-male Shakespearean productions ā a wonderful intellectual exercise, maybe, but itās outrageous because itās putting a lot of women out of work.ā

this quote is tangentially related, but I think it helps show where this is coming from. heās already very aware of Britainās cultural inequality (maybe even experienced it himself, idk), and who better represents that inequality than the parasite queen herself?
And this is why Christopher Eccleston basically got blacklisted from the BBC for about 10 years
