just dance try hards to the max. they get overly mad when people do the method where you just move around the wii stick instead of putting your whole life into it, and because nash has a track record of using that method he’s banned from just dance competitions
they forget their beef all the time. lyra gets mad when she remembers though. once someone reminded her at an event and jameson went to whisper something to her and she, very loudly, yelled “YOU HAVE AN ITCHY WHAT?”
after that he got avery to convey the message that he was never speaking to her ever again (avery agreed to his face but then went up to lyra and started a completely random convo. she was like “whats ur fav ice cream flavour” and lyra was like “i like sorbet better” and avery was like “cool” then walked away and shot jameson a thumbs up to make him think he talked to her)
speaking of beef, jameson apologized at the WORST possible time. it was right after they’d gone through hell and back dealing with alice and she was caught so off guard by him apologizing over something he did (im assuming with the timeline) days/weeks ago that she said to his face that she didnt care
jameson felt relieved because it meant she hadnt been affected by it but lyra felt bad because she didnt want to brush off his apology. yes this caused more awkwardness, yes everyone was over them
he picks at her food whenever she leaves the room and it drives lyra crazy, not cuz he takes a lot (cuz he doesnt) but cuz hes so consistent with it that she sees it coming every time
once she counted how many fries were on her plate before going to the bathroom and when she came back, she noticed one was gone
this was, coincidentally, the one time grayson snuck a fry off her plate. and yes he did stay quiet while his girlfriend yelled at his brother for something he didn’t do
DANCERS OF THE FAMILY!! they are GOOD at dancing but they think ballroom dancing can be boring so they always make events super chaotic. think robin and barney dance in how i met your mother
both anatomically incapable of whistling (somehow)
jameson buzzed once as part of a dare (and cuz tobias would never have let him but he always secretly wanted to be a part of that boy band of highschoolers who buzzed their hair in the summer) and lyra always called him the real slim shady
yes he took the slim part to heart, he knows hes a skinny king
them and averygrayson get a bunch of dating allegations, but esp them cuz they post a lot together. but its literally just them using tiktok game filters when theyre bored
speaking of making tiktoks, they esp do this when avery/grayson are handling some event at the foundation that doesnt involve them. Usually they involve jameson cuz like hes high up there too but when he isnt, the two of them do “whats in my gfs purse/bfs work bag” hauls, lip sync to tiktok audios, and other stuff like that
do u know that one audio where its like “where do u wanna eat? lemme guess, taco bell?” “where do u wanna eat? starbucks?” they made a tt to that but alisa made them take it down
respectful shit talkers. will say “he really is struggling, BUT” to start off a shit talking session and end with “but its not my place to say”. it pisses grayson off so bad because he’d rather them just be straight up then beat around the bush
lyra will disagree with him just for the sake of disagreeing with him. he could say an entirely factual statement and lyra would still be like “no i dont think thats right”
jameson will randomly ruffle her hair while walking by and it makes her really mad
they raced once and lyra hated every bit of it cux she couldnt go over like 100 without fearing for her life
lyra believes in pantsing. jameson does not. unfortunately, lyra doesnt care and pants him anyways
whenever lyra messes up her words jameson makes it a joke for the next 3 weeks
actually he does this with everyone so whenever he stutters or something it becomes a whole thing because everyones pissed off at him for dragging it so they try and get back at him
for secret santa one year jameson got her and he wrapped it pony shaped, then turns out it was just a big box underneath, which led to a smaller box, which led to a smaller box, and by the end of it lyra ended up being gifted a bracelet and jameson was personally responsible for 90% of deforestation due to all the wrapping paper
but the necklace had the lyra constellation on it and even tho she was annoyed she loved it
speaking of christmas, lyra lowk drags that holiday as a whole cuz she loves it so much but she gets sooo sentimental about it like she’ll put christmas cards on everyones doors and like decorate like her life depends on it
jameson just cannot take anything seriously tho so he sent her back a christmas card of him taking a selfie with the dog filter on. then he straight up just put text over it that said merry christmas
lyra asked him who told him to send the ugliest fucking card ever and he said “the spirit of christmas”
i tried to not make it too corny cuz i hate when people are like “no theyre GOING to be best friends 🥹” like no theyre GOING to be cousins who shit talk each other when theyre not in the room but still enjoy each others company okay
