I love Eric Kripke so much. You know when you go through narcissistic abuse and the self-blame becomes colossal self hatred, and you hate every part of you, every word you say?

Eric Kripke is like, no don’t do that, it can happen to anyone. He gestures at all the mythology about Castiel from all the ancient sources, “Imagine if you were Cass? He’s amazing, right? Infinitely powerful, scary and beautiful? Well even Cass can go through narcissistic abuse. Was it his fault too?” And we’re like, “what no! of course not! That’s sacrilegious, almost!”
