so hi everyone, i'm Remy, i'm here to take all over the Tmblr with my marauders arts ;)
i usually try to be polite, but sometimes i genuinely don’t have it in me.
people who romanticize — and especially sexualize — Remus’s lycanthropy, friendly reminder: you’re romanticizing and sexualizing an allegory for HIV/AIDS.
thanks for your attention, have a nice day :)
i get that werewolves in pop culture have long been tied to romanticization and sexualization — same goes for vampires.
(but in both cases, neither rowling nor stoker actually intended that. especially rowling. stoker’s vampires are seductive, sure — but it’s the same kind of seduction as sirens: they just want to feed)
the difference between fandoms matters too, and honestly:
harry potter is not about sexualized werewolves.
if you’re looking for that — there are other fandoms for it, and that’s fine, it’s their canon. but romanticizing something that destroys people’s lives, their mental health, their bodies — yeah, that’s… not it.
and honestly, maybe it’s a good thing rowling never explicitly gave remus visible scars — because fandom would’ve romanticized those too.

Hey guys, I'm Kleine Android. Gonna live here and serve you a lot of WATER!
“You see, we have never been able to keep a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher for longer than a year since I refused the post to Lord Voldemort.”
A parade of professors! Who’s your favourite?
(I care so little about Amycus Carrow that in my last post I accidentally called him by his sister’s name. Sorry not sorry 🥲)
Basic Fandom Etiquette Everyone Needs to Remember:
Creators do not owe anyone content. Do not ask writers when they will update.
If an author did not ask for [negative] criticism , do not give criticism.
Read the tags carefully before reading a fanfic.
If you ignored the tags and were upset, that is your responsibility, not the creator’s.
Disliking a ship does NOT give you the right to attack people who enjoy it.
Do not tell authors or shippers that their ship is “disgusting,” “wrong,” or “shouldn’t exist.” Shipping fictional characters is not a moral failing.
No one is obligated to justify why they ship two fictional characters.
Headcanons are PERSONAL interpretations, not universal truth.
Dark themes in fiction do not equal real life beliefs or intentions.
Leaving kudos or short positive comments genuinely matters.
Not every fanwork is made for you, and that is okay.
Scrolling past content you dislike is better than engaging negatively
Enjoying a fandom later than others does not make someone less of a fan.
Disliking a fanfic does not entitle you to announce that to its creator. Sending hate comments to authors is NEVER justified, even if you disliked the work.
guys hear me out
Percy Weasley as Icarus
OMYGOOOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHH OMGOMGOMGOMG YES
Remus never had a broom of his own, so whenever the Order planned a broom-based mission, Sirius would lend him his Silver Arrow. Remus would very seriously circle it, peeking into a first-year flying textbook the whole time. The Weasley twins watched and absolutely lost it laughing.
[Later, that same Silver Arrow was left to Remus in Sirius’s will — and it was the broom he used to get George out during the “Seven Potters” operation.]
I don’t know about you, but I find it hilarious that Walburga Black basically behaves like a huge, absolutely deranged parrot — she stops screaming the moment you cover her with a handkerchief.
I couldn't find a song that would represent Percy Weasley's arc with the ministry better than "Good Boy" by Paris Paloma
Well, the movies didn't give us that, so I had to do it myself
I posted this video on my tiktok, but quite a few people saw it there, so I'll look for Percy's fans here. I know we all needed it, guys
listening to PoA, and it feels like something in me has shifted — not just in how I read the canon, but in my artistic perception too, because… I don’t quite know how to put it, but it seems we’re getting a redesign.
can you call it a redesign if you’re returning to old designs?
The stranger was wearing an extremely shabby set of wizard’s robes that had been darned in several places. He looked ill and exhausted. Though quite young, his light brown hair was flecked with gray.
“The age difference between Tonks and Remus is so weird,” they said and then started shipping Remus and Hermione 🙄
LOUDER PLEASE
#remadora #remus x tonks
Nymphadora Tonks was always falling. There were men in her life who offered her a hand to help her up — but she married the one who caught her before she hit the ground.
Tonks was only eight when the First Wizarding War ended. Her parents did everything they could to shield her from the horrors they had faced themselves, to give their daughter a happy and safe childhood — but it was impossible to hide everything. Tonks knew there had been a war.
And when it was finally over, for the first time, when someone jokingly asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, she said:
“An Auror.”
She wanted to make sure the world would never again go through what her parents had lived through — that people would never have to be afraid again. She wanted to protect others.
And she did.
be honest — “No, I’m not human” has reached your feed too, right? would you let him in?
if Remus were a character in that game:
never appears as a Guest
if you refuse to let him in, he’ll first try to bribe you with a pack of cat food
might look like a Guest at first because of his dirty nails and red eyes
during conversations, he subtly hints at lycanthropy but never says it outright
initially appears in the living room, but on the second day he automatically spawns wherever there are children — or hides in the closet
if the Coat Guy comes after him, he’ll demand that you throw him out
after three days (if he survives that long), he’ll ask for permission to leave during the day — saying there’ll be a full moon at night, and he doesn’t want to hurt anyone
