Who would you say your most wanted are?
We would love to have our masterminds, first and foremost! Here they are: Alexei Rozanov, Francis Villiers, Lillian Beauregard, and Victor Beauregard.
But every character is seriously wanted and you should apply for the one that grabs your attention!
I emailed tumblr support 7 hours ago about my tags not working and they haven’t responded :)

I just woke up to another anon message about the theme debate, asking for more of how I felt, because I “seem like a nice person.” So...I guess I’ll respond if there’s someone out there who wants to know how I feel.
I feel very strongly about accessibility for all, especially as someone who has vision issues. They’re not severe, but when I look at themes with small containers and font sizes (especially when they have other styles applied to them, such as glowing or blurred text) my eyes sometimes go cross-eyed and hurt as I try to focus.
There is a difference between bullying and demanding equity. Yes, you have every right to use whatever theme you want, but other people have every right to tell you exactly how ableist and wrong they think it is. It’s not bullying and I would never spread that rhetoric.
I am a nice person. I like to think I’m a nice person. I probably wouldn’t “call someone out” on things, but that’s more due to my anxiety than anything else. Being nice doesn’t mean I’d be on the side of ableist who think having a pretty theme that fits trends is more important than having people being able to read your content.
I think it’s a shame that people would rather delete their blogs and content than change minor things about the way they conduct themselves. All for aesthetic. It’s sad.
Though, I guess I do have a hard time admitting I’m wrong myself, sometimes. So, from that point of view, I kind of get it. It’s sometimes easier to pretend like nothing happened, delete it all, then to try and climb out of a hole you dug yourself.
what are your thoughts on the theme discourse 2k17?
Aesthetic never trumps accessibility.
Hello we are a new supernatural college rp. At white Oak University those of supernatural descent and Humans who seek to protect them are allowed to study in peace. From normal courses such as teaching to not so normal courses such as spell casting. If possible could we get a Shoutout. Please and thank you very much for your time.
Shouting out!
Could you help me out with a faceclaim help? I'm searching for a fc for a father and a mother of Alexandra (28 in the rp) and Matthew (27 in the rp) Daddario
Sure!
Mothers:
Famke Janssen (50-58)
Mary-Louise Parker (48-58)
Sandra Bullock (wide age range, depending on gifs used, max around 58)
Sela Ward (50-60)
Fathers:
Robert Downey Jr. (45-58)
Kevin Spacey (wide age range, depending on gifs used, max around 60)
Gary Oldman (wide age range, depending on gifs used, max around 65)
Mads Mikkelsen (45-58)
Hope this helps! I find older faceclaims have more flexible age ranges than younger ones.
Normally I don’t post celebrities Instagrams but I think this is noteworthy.

diego luna is the love of my life. he should also be the love of your life. if he’s not, you’re just wrong.
I took my father to see Rogue One today. I’ve wanted to take him for a while. I wanted my Mexican father, with his thick Mexican accent, to experience what it was like to see a hero in a blockbuster film, speak the way he does. And although I wasn’t sure if it was going to resonate with him, I took him anyway. When Diego Luna’s character came on screen and started speaking, my dad nudged me and said, “he has a heavy accent.” I was like, “Yup.” When the film was over and we were walking to the car, he turns to me and says, “did you notice that he had an accent?” And I said, “Yeah dad, just like yours.” Then my dad asked me if the film had made a lot of money. I told him it was the second highest grossing film of 2016 despite it only being out for 18 days in 2016 (since new year just came around). He then asked me if people liked the film, I told him that it had a huge following online and great reviews. He then asked me why Diego Luna hadn’t changed his accent and I told him that Diego has openly talked about keeping his accent and how proud he is of it. And my dad was silent for a while and then he said, “And he was a main character.” And I said, “He was.” And my dad was so happy. As we drove home he started telling me about other Mexican actors that he thinks should be in movies in America. Representation matters.
is jake gyllenhaal gay?
do you know how frustrating it is to be the only blog who can’t reply with the “why would you ask us, a __________ blog, this” answer to this question. it just doesn’t work when you’re literally a jake gyllenhaal blog.
I don’t even know what’s going on but I love it
I’ve said this before but I don’t think these thememakers get that they have essentially created a monopoly with their themes. They have created a standard for what themes in the roleplay community should look like if they want to be successful and the lack of talk about accessibility in the rpc has just led people to accepting that these types of contained themes are the norm. It’s really not that hard to wrap your head around why “don’t like don’t use” doesn’t fly in this situation when our choices for themes made specifically for the rpc are very limited and you may risk not even getting followers or blog traffic in general if you don’t adhere to the very specific aesthetic that indie has created.
when you do this you essentially create an environment where aesthetic trumps accessibility. when you have a position of influence as a creator, you should be using that position to encourage change for the better rather than spreading ableist rhetoric. think about the message you’re spreading when you create and encourage an environment that’s hostile toward people that try to suggest accessibility and think about what side of the argument you’re on. this isn’t just about aesthetics. this is a situation where you could be using your privilege for good instead of trying to keep us stuck in the same place.
