INTRODUCTION POST!

For those of you who maybe wondering "Who the heck is this person, and why are they following me and liking all my stuff?" you may have previously known me as @hikarimainblog. Hi again. hahah

I had just recently got a new phone and everything, and unfortunately I had lost all of my passwords and emails for existing social media accounts, and therefore had to start everything by scratch. Surprise, surprise.

For those of you who stumbled on my page, because I post/like a lot of the same things as you, then Hi and Welcome! The name's Hikari, nice to meet ya!

Whenever I meet a fellow girl who immediately acts like that, I cringe so damn bad on the inside that my soul crumples up like tin foil. It’s like, no. Stop with that mentality. Stop degrading yourself with this childish nonsense. You are strong, independent women who shouldn’t be infantilizing yourselves by saying the above phrases in this screenshot.

Women shouldn’t have to be acting like the stereotypical ditzy girlfriend you see on tv who worship the ground that men walk on, and hope for some kind of reward in return. No! We are way beyond that point in history!

So I fell down the rabbit hole and decided to watch Emesis Blue, and to be honest…it actually wasn’t that bad. I don’t usually like horror movies (whether fan made or not), but Emesis Blue had me at the edge of my seat in a very good way. The suspense, the plot twists, and atmosphere was all amazing! And I love how it actually slowly built up and didn’t rely on a bunch of jump scares or over the top scary music or imagery.

Plus the scene where Medic sees himself and Scout talking and was trying to push past the room dividers? I got major Interstellar vibes from that scene because of a similar scene from that movie.

Top notch cinema right there. It has my seal of approval. 😁

Cornbread! Cornbread! 🌽🍞

I made a perfectly soft and moist cornbread from scratch for the first time and on my first attempt! 🤩

My great-grandma made cornbread all the time when me and my brother were little kids. It’s one of the things I miss about her cooking ever since she passed back in 2008 just a few weeks after I turned 7.

I literally did NOT wanted to know that there are people in this world that ship Connor with his own father. But unfortunately, I stumbled on an AC3 post where someone apparently does and now I am scarred for life. See y’all in the afterlife peeps. 😵

I find the picture funny, because I myself am not a devote Christian as I used to be as a kid. I believe in mutliple deities of faith though am planning on fully converting to Shintōism someday. (I also think of this exact line when someone tries to throw their Catholic/Christian beliefs down my throat. Hahah)
