Completely Screwed // Madison and Tara

Madison couldn’t have been more relieved to hear another voice over the endless groans of the walkers that were closing in on her. She really didn’t think that she was going to ever live to see another living soul and was completely convinced that it was all going to end right then and there. 

The girl had always prided herself on being tough as nails but being in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, especially alone, was really starting to take a toll on her mental state. Never in her life had she thought about giving up but lately it had been a constant nagging thought, no matter how much she wanted to live to see another day maybe giving in and no longer having to fight would be a better thing. Tara’s voice and the way she swooped in to kill off the walkers, with her sassy voice and cheesy jokes distracted Madison from thinking such things. For the first time in days the ex starlet wondered if maybe there was hope.  Under normal circumstances the woman’s words would have been pretty funny but at that moment Madison was way too scared to laugh at anything. At first Madison was too busy staring in dumbfounded awe at the way that Tara so effortlessly killed the zombies but of course she realized that wasn’t exactly the smartest thing to do. She didn’t have to be told twice to run and quickly obeyed the commands given to her by the other woman because they sounded like the best option possible. It sounded stupid to backtrack towards the train station she’d already passed up but Tara seemed to know what she was talking about and Madison wasn’t going to argue with her - at least not right now. It didn’t her as long to get to the train station as she had thought it was due to the fact that the blonde was out of her mind of her mind with fear and her adrenaline was really pumping. She slowed down the moment she reached it and ducked inside quickly, immediately scanning the place for walkers as she waited for her dark haired savior to join her. The coast seemed to be clear and Madison leaned against the former ticket booth panting and trying to catch her breath.

{ As blood spattered against her olive complexion, Tara looked on at the Walker corpses in the street and along the tracks, she had slaughtered a hefty number yet this was no time to celebrate a brutal victory the small horde was still coming, Tara ran into the wooded area by the tracks leading the ditzy dead parade off of Madison's trail, as bracken and leaves crunched against her size fives, a distance began to grow between the rugged brunette and the biters. }

❝ Fantastic,❞ 

{ Tara mumbled catching her breath behind the concealing stump of a tree.}

 ❝ Alright Blondie, you'd better be alive❞ { Steadily and gingerly she began to creep off to the tracks once more, backtracking ever so carefully to the train station—  things were going smoothly until of course a couple of the freaks spotted her and began their hungry pursuit once again. }

❝ Motherfuckers ❞ { sprinting towards the entrance and breathing frantically the door was kicked open, Madison was already inside composing herself— Tara practically jumped her to the floor, looking her dead in the eyes.  }  ❝ They're coming, stay down and stay alive, if any of them get inside be ready. ❞
