anyone else tired of taylor swift perpetually being painted as a raging bitch or just me
Honestly this reminds me so much of what JoJo's label did to her. They kept all her master's, wouldn't let her record more music, wouldn't promote her, wanted her to sign on for longer, but wouldn't let her out of their contract willingly. She spent YEARS and a ton of money trying to get her rights back for her music, to be able to play it, and make more. But she finally won, and then to be able to make her money back, she recorded "remastered" versions of her old albums. Now she's touring, making more music, and is in control of her own career again. But no one talks about it, because she wasn't as big as Taylor. So if Taylor can bring the shadiness of this all to light, maybe the next person will be able to own their music rights without having to fight the same way these women have had to their entire careers.
So #IStandWithTaylor now, and forever!
