i’m reblogging this again because this scene PISSES ME OFF. i had to rewind when i got to this close up because i COULDNT TELL BEFORE THAT THIS WAS SHIRO. I thought this was james. he stayed quiet the entire time, not a fucking peep, he only lets out a gasp when Zethrid turns her gun. That is the biggest far cry from the shiro we knew from s1-s7, arguably s6.

they demolished shiro and keith’s relationship to the point where if this is the only season of Voltron you watch, you would never think that Shiro and Keith actually give a shit about each other. and that’s the most heartbreaking thing about this series finale: reducing your most fleshed out, healthy relationship to THIS.
