ANYWAY i have a couple of really fun projects planned for 2026 including a visual novel, a piano suite dedicated to my besties of over a decade, a symphony, and a couple of duets for a somewhat unconventional pair of instruments
also graduating this coming spring yay

sebastien, leonid, frances, cyrille, and laurent are my characters! the other three are hers :]
the tldr is that these eight are organizing a revolutionary movement while working through a bunch of personal issues. this is like an extremely gay french telenovela. i am brainrotting so hard abt these guys

debating whether my big summer project should be to learn to shudder or the legend of zelda: call of the void
TLTS is a visual novel, like that's already set in stone and i have a concrete plan for how to get from beginning to end with that one
COTV is, as of now, just a soundtrack. but i wanna make an accompanying zine for it. but i'm one person that doesn't have all the necessary skills to make one of those.
either way, the soundtrack for COTV is gonna be done and released by december & as of now TLTS should be in a playable state by spring 2026.....,.. but oughe
one of these days i've gotta write an essay on tears of the kingdom. i have many thoughts about it; for the record, i do like that game!! but i have Bones To Pick with it
basically
POSITIVES: really fun gameplay mechanics; fantastic soundtrack; updates to the overworld were really neat; did i say fantastic soundtrack
NEGATIVES: depths & sky islands were quite empty compared to the overworld; sky islands in particular were a pain in the ass to get to and felt pointless bc of the first thing; i get that they wanted u to be able to do the dungeons in any order but the way it was implemented totally screwed up the narrative; lack of enemy variety; TOTK felt really disconnected from BOTW to the point where i was questioning whether it was an AU instead of a sequel when i first started playing it
most of my issues with this came are narrative related tbh like i don't expect tolkien level writing from zelda games but dang
once again. it is an 8/10 game to me, i just enjoy criticizing things that i like
