I was chilling and recovering the store with my register closed when I had a lady come in without a mask. nothing out of the ordinary. I just kept doing my thing. (might I add, we have a pretty big sign that says the register is closed and to go to the other section of the store to check out). I was just putting some stuff away when I hear this lady coughing up a storm. it straight up sounded like she was gonna cough up a hairball. after hearing that I decided to keep my register closed even tho I had the jurisdiction to open it and probably should've opened it a few minutes ago. I went back to the front counter to work on markdowns and the sort. and this lady came up to the register and looked at the giant ass sign. she stood there for a second and as I was reaching to grab something. she coughs on me. open mouth, no covering it, no mask. on me. she then left to go check out at the other registers.
I can not explain how many times I used hand sanitizer that day.
