ooc; Uhm... Small threads are fine, as long as they stay limited. They also probably won’t stick around as long as some of the larger threads, or if they get passed a certain length, I might slow down or stop replying until the hiatus is up. It’s mostly just the heavier stuff that’s hard to right to be honest. I won’t be as consistent(?) with them as I would be with large threads. I might just stop replying or will be super, duper slow with small threads.

Thread Hiatus

ᵒᵘᵗ ᵒᶠ ˢᵉᵏᵏᵒᶰᵈˢ; Alright. Things have been super horrible lately for the past month and I obviously have not been as active as I should be as a result. The more I think about it, given how many drafts I owe, the more stressed I get and I switch to a new tab or Ajuna as a distraction.

I’m gonna just tl:dr so I spare you the details for those who don’t care; Major and Large Threads are going to be temporarily hiatused until further notice.

I’ve been doing asks and memes because they’re easy. I love playing as Ekko, but I just can’t bring myself to full blown replies and the ones I am doing(???) are very few and far between. I know some of you are losing patience with me due to my selective replying but I just... can’t.

I kinda wanna drop some old threads and start a few new ones to kinda get the cycle back in gear (esp since I think a lot of the blogs I was interacting with before kinda went inactive; don’t fret! Not all threads will be dropped and there are a few I have promised to do when I get to my drafts).

However, I don’t really want to do much until my RL settles down and I get my shit in order (ie; get a job, emotionally recover, etc) and that it taking a lot of time because I have issues involving my friends and my family that just desperately require my attention. So, for this, I am temporarily halting all major or large threads.

Memes and asks may still be a thing, feel free to hit up the rewind rebel and ask him anything you like. I may reblog memes and stuff, but none of them will be turned into threads. (However, if you want them to be turned into threads, let me know and I’ll put them in my drafts for when I return to threading. Do keep in mind that I might not want to accept too many meme-to-thread requests because then I will just be overwhelmed and I’ll never wanna go back to threading.)

I’ll write an update on Ajuna for what’s going on with his blog but for now, Ekko is on an ask-only basis for the time being. Thank you for your patience. I apologise severely for this. x.x

ZAC stood as he looked at the thug's unconscious body. Usually they would take more than that. Oh well. Still got the job done. He looked at the victims carefully, what looked like a white-haired kid, trying to clean something up at a mural. "Well.. Glad your safe pal," ZAC said gently. "Nice mural you got there. sorry about your losses.."

He lifted the broken goggles off the ground and set them back to the place they were supposed to be. They had been broken a long time ago, but he’d noticed a new crack in them now. He couldn’t tear his eyes from it for a short while.

                   “Thanks,”

he replied quietly, taking a single deep breath to regulate himself.

                   “It’s fine.”

Ekko glanced up to the mural, then turned his attention to the... blob-ish... What? He looked up and down the... man. Perhaps under other circumstances, he would’ve found himself panicking or freaking out or stammering or excited, but he was exhausted and he ached all over and he just didn’t have the energy to care.

Maybe it was a quick fight to everyone else, but he rewound twelve times just to get it as good as that, and at least two more times just to get the anger out of his system. He’d injured his right arm four rewinds ago, and the pain was starting to numb... He ran his left hand over one side of his head, falling back down to his neck and gently rubbing the muscles there before gingerly holding his injured arm.

                    “Thanks for your help. Sorry to... get you involved.”

☽ Become obsessed with someone they admire

ᵒᵘᵗ ᵒᶠ ˢᵉᵏᵏᵒᶰᵈˢ; Truthfully, Ekko is too obsessed with his own work and his own life to really become obsessed with someone he admires, or even to admire someone altogether. Even if there was someone he admired so much that they actually held his attention more often than his work, he would hate for his freedom to be imposed upon by a public figure he hardly knows. (Or a possible friend, or… what have you.)

So, ironically, Ekko wouldn’t like being obsessed with someone purely because he would rather be obsessed with his work than a person. I suppose there’s also a degree of self-awareness that it would be creepy, even for him, and he would try to avoid it as much as possible because he would be afraid of scaring them off if he did like them that much. He also hold a degree of integrity where being obsessed with a person would impose on that and his sense of pride.

Rule Modification

A rule has been modified regarding Mutuals.

I kinda prefer to only RP with mutuals, so people I’m following and are following me back. This goes both ways. I know some people don’t follow people back always, for their own reasons, and that’s totally fine. But if you choose not to follow me back (again, totally cool), I might not know how to approach you since I don’t wanna bother you if you don’t want me to. So, if you don’t follow me back, I will make the assumption you have no interest in RPing and will eventually unfollow you. The only exception of this case is if you personally message me explaining you don’t want to follow for any other reason but maintain interest in threading. From there, we can reach an appropriate solution.
