if I am going to a grocery store I have not memorized the layout of, I would love a map! if I am going to a grocery store to get specific things and I have not memorized which is the good brand and how much is too much to pay for it and how much is a fantastic deal, I would love a list with visuals! these look like excellent disability accommodations for someone like me! and I deeply resent the implication that that means I'm incompetent, or that someone kind enough to provide me those cue sheets is controlling. let us not discuss the ableist insult.

I thought this too on some level, because…I can see why someone might struggle with things like finding an object they can’t picture in their head, or ordering all the items they have to find in order to get them without walking back and forth a bunch of times, and when you have memory problems something like this could be super helpful. But??? It’s framed like a “husbands amirite???” Sort of joke and it’s like…she’s flexing by making this super detailed thing but also seemingly resenting it and it’s just confusing??
