Léo merely shrugged at her first comment, it wasn’t a ‘complete’ lie after all. His eyes widened a little as she continued listing the drinks, a small whistle leaving his lips before a laugh. “Ah, correct me if I’m wrong —” Whilst being aware his so called deduction is not surprising to anyone in the country, he grinned anyways. “From the list you provided, I feel like there is no taste buds involved in one’s drinking habits here. Getting drunk sounds good enough.”
“incorrect, trust me you’ll know if something’s bad-- that’s all you need your taste buds for, to figure out what’s good and what’s bad. just don’t got too cheap when you buy your alcohol, otherwise you’re asking for it.”
“You’re not that bad.. - You’re just bad enough.”
“personally i think that’s just the right amount of bad, at least i’m not darth vader.”
he pretended to think about it for a while, looking almost up at the ceiling and squinting, as if deep in his past, before shrugging lightly. ‘ nope. ’ watching her out of the corner of his eye, the thought that she might jab a knife into his liver if he bent down still there, he attempted swiftly to help pick up the few remaining knives while she showed off, despite it not being in his nature to do so. ‘ i never say no to a free beer. and you’re probably right, anyway. ryker has no control over them lot. ’
once she was finished packing away the knives the brunette turned around to look at seth, leaning against the table as she did. “i’d be concerned if you did say no to a beer, i’d assume you were dying or something.” rhea joked before laughing slightly, “they’re team toddlers for a reason.”
“Yeah well apparently the kids don’t bother with caring about our ages, if we’re older than twenty-two we’re ancient. Oh god imagine a seventy year old kicking ass, you’d sure cause a hell of a fuss.”
“the youth of today? so disrespectful. what happened to respect your elders? gone down the drain. i can’t tell if it’d be sad or rad.”
“too kind of you, choosing my life over your own entertainment. that’s the sort knowledge i need to sleep easy at night. i could get down with this prank of yours for the low-low price of drinks on you next weekend. i think that’s only fair, don’t you?”
“well i’m feeling nice today, what can i say? i highly doubt the drinks will be cheap, but i’ll agree mainly because i just really want to do this prank and get drunk.”
“perhaps you should check the expiration date next time. and because, i have to live in my bedroom, i don’t live in the training room.”
“i was in a rush, plus i thought maybe someone would have thrown it out, you know? whatever. true, but other people have to be in it, it’d be nice to keep it clean.”
“I failed at raising a tamagotchi. How the fu–frick frack patty whack am I supposed to raise a child?”
“Don’t ask me, keep it away from me -- I’ll probably drop it.”
Marie tapped her pen rapidly against the desk, another pen twisted up in her hair and yet another between her teeth. She’d been pursuing Russian for almost a week now, but was finding it more difficult than any of the other languages she spoke…something about it not being based in latin (which she was fluent in) kept tripping her up. There was whole different system of grammar and phonetics that she just couldn’t get. And god damn it, the annoyingly loud group in the corner wasn’t helping at all. “Hey,” She snapped, looking up from her textbook and giving them a sharp glare, “Can you guys keep it down? I’m trying to study, you невнимательный придурки.” .
The group had come back from a mission, a successful one of course, and it was clear that they were all on a high, so of course they couldn’t help but be loud. Rhea was fine, she was actually enjoying herself, until she heard someone from across the room. “Maybe if you asked nicely we’d leave, but.”

No offence, but why would I take a tamagotchi from you? I’m not that bored, christ.
“ a scrub is a guy that think he’s fine and is also known as a buster, ” casey sang half-heartedly as she took another swing at the punching dummy. she shuffled to the left and swung her leg around, kicking the dummy square in the chin. “ no, i don’t want no scrub, a scrub is a guy that can’t get no love from me !! ” she aimed one final clock towards where, theoretically, the punching bag’s right eye would be. with an exhausted sigh, case wiped a bead of sweat off of her forehead contently. she turned to face the rest of the training room. “ so who wants to be serenaded next ?? i’m taking requests !! ”
“my request is that you should stop.” rhea replied sarcastically before letting out a huff, she had woken up in a horrific mood and really all she wanted was peace and quiet whilst she trained.
“i just spent hours on my feet doing an autopsy, all for you. i do it all for you. you know, i haven’t eaten since 6:00 this morning, and all that was was a half a cream cheese bagel, and it wasn’t even real cream cheese, it was light cream cheese! and now you want me to run off and do another autopsy?!”
“look it’s really not my fault that harley’s on my ass about this, meaning i’m on your ass about it, hell i’ll even buy you food if you just get me that autopsy or beer, whatever you want, but please.”
“You know, if it weren’t for the fact that I get to wear such cute clothes on undercover missions, I might be offended that they always pick me to be the girl from whatever imaginary escort company they’re setting the target up through,” Kali said, her fingers fluffing up her hair as she turned in place, checking the outfit she’d just received from the higher ups for her mission. “Do you think they’ll let me keep this?”
“Always looking on the bright side, I see.” Rhea joked before inspecting the females outfit, she had to admit it was lovely. “Probably not, but I’d at least try hiding it if I were you.”
‘ so i took the helicopter for a joyride today, and wound up in maui. needless to say, i ate as many things out of a pineapple that i possibly could and high tailed it back to hq. it was fun. you should come next time. ’
“i’d kill to come next time, i haven’t ever been on a holiday so that’s on my list of things to do, and a lovely island far away from everyone here would be great.”
I relate to the phrase “chillin like a villain” because it shows that I’m calm but also ready to sin
every time i planted my roots i had to rip them out. i do not settle any more. i do not believe in homes. i do not stay - i go; i leave; i disappear. i do not come back; i arrive never the same, forever unsettled.
