I think people have truly lost any ability to be patient with storytelling.

‘I don’t understand this’ They’ll explain it if you wait.

‘This character is flat’ Wait for them to be fleshed out.

So many of the complaints I see about shows lately are people being confused by things THAT THE SHOW WANTS YOU TO BE CONFUSED BY THATS THE FUN OF MYSTERY AND FORESHADOWING YOU ABSOLUTE GOBLINS THE MAIN CHARACTER IS ALSO CONFUSED AND THEYRE GONNA DO A BIG REVEAL AND EXPLANATION LATER IF YOU WOULD JUST FUCKING WAIT

Fuuuck theyre right. And the reason why Cairngorm remembers this so clearly is because not even a few seconds later Cairngorm takes over Ghost's body to make sure Phos doesnt ask Ghost for help, they blame Phos for Ghost being taken to the moon and this was the exact starting point.

you ever worry people won't be able to tell your book, movie, or video game takes place in space?

you see people use a capital A without a crossbar or a D without a stem but why not go further and just fuck up every letter. if there wasn't an obvious stroke to remove I just cut a big chunk out at random. these are letters of the far future if I've ever seen them
