Rubbing his hand on the back of his neck, Koujaku hummed pensively. “Actually there’s this dessert with canned peaches and cream that sounds really good. If only I could actually not fuck up in a kitchen, I’d try to make some for you…” shrugging it off, he met Mizuki’s eyes, tilting his head to the side. “Your place it is, then.” He was feeling quite light inside. It was nice, mind. It was a very nice sensation like a weigh has been lifted from his chest.

Who knew deeper feeling would burden him so much? until fairly recently he had thought himself to be in love with someone else, but then he took a Mizuki to the face, and hell, he had not predicted that one. Lazily running his fingers through his ponytail, he let out a sigh, filled with fake regret. “You don’t need to show off, Mr I Can Use a Microwave,” clicking his tongue Koujaku grinned at Mizuki, tilting his head to the side. “We could always call take away instead. That pizza place still delivers home, doesn’t it?” He really didn’t feel like waiting for the food outside a packed restaurant, and to be honest, he wasn’t even all that hungry. The only thing he wanted, as cheesy as it sounded, was to spend time with Mizuki, sort this new development out.

"I wasn't showing off." Mizuki gave Koujaku a pout, an obviously fake one, "Clearly I was just trying to impress you with my outstanding cooking skills." There was a stifled laugh in his sentence, and eventually his pout broke into a grin.

Soon the grin became a small smile. Pizza sounded nice, and simple. Much easier than waiting at a place that had the possibility of being crowded and way too noisy to even get an accurate order in. There was also the chance of running into one of Koujaku's many fangirls while they waited, and Mizuki wasn't too fond of that thought. But it made him suddenly blush as he realized how jealous that thought sounded. "I'm pretty sure it still delivers. And if for some reason, it doesn't, we can find one that does." He shrugged, trying to clear away that blush that had formed, hoping Koujaku hadn't noticed. It was doubtful, but he still hoped.
