Eventually, Roadhog settled down, eyeing up this young guy in front of him. He was tiny, but he had spirit! Had to admire, that, even if spirit alone didnât get you places.
âWell...How dâya think two handsome blokes like us got in this situation, anyway?â He put a heavy hand on Junkratâs back, causing the Aussie to grunt and stumble some, but giggled as he continued from Roadhogâs thought process.
âWe just...ainât the heroic type. Not like beinâ honest ever got us anywhere! ....tried goinâ legit, we did! Didnât pay off....â Just the thought made him grumble and shove his hands in his pockets, a big grin on his face. âWell, for our...employer, anyway. Huhu....see, mate, only thing peopleâre gonna see us as is criminals! Nâ theyâll do whatever they can to see us locked up or blown up!â Roadhog nodded slowly, agreeing.
âQuestion is...â The larger of the two leaned down, staring at Sender through those big mask lenses. âWhy dâyou care so much?â

That...was wholly unexpected. Roadhog, too had expected to yank back the weight of a whole person, but instead he found his hook dangling rather loosly with a pair of ratty camo shorts. This was a combination of absurdly hilarious and entirely unamusing. His face turned to look at the rat, letting out an annoyed grumble as he yanked the hook back into his hand more properly now.
âSo! Maybe you should quit while yer ahead, âcause there ainât no more clothes to save yer skinny hide if I throw this thing again! Whaddya say...gonna do this the smart way...or the fun way?â As if to put emphasis on that last part, he waved his hook around, a menacing chuckle rumbling out like gravel from his throat. NOT a good sound, not at all.

"I... T-think you two should try being heroes, y-you could really help people!"
The two Junkers looked to eachother at those words, the only obvious grin being Junkratâs before they both burst into loud laughter. Them? HEROES?! That was just completely absurd! They were just mayhem! Destruction! What good was that to anyone?
âListen here, kiddo...â Junkrat spoke up first, setting a hand, his fleshy hand, on Senderâs shoulder and gesturing with the prosthetic. âSee us? They call us âanarchistsâ. Nâ I ainât entirely sure on everything, but as far as Iâve SEEN? Thatâs usually not the kinda thing people are just gonna openly welcome as a âheroâ...besides...â He gestured between himself and Roadhog, who was still chuckling with his arms crossed. âDoes this...look like the face of two heroes, eh?â
âAinât like folksâre gonna give us a chance, regardless,â The big guy finally rumbled out, rolling his shoulder. âWe ainât nearly pretty enough to go on them posters.â In response, Junkrat scoffed, setting a hand to his chest and moving as though he was tossing his hair back.
âSpeak for YERSELF, Roadie! I am the EPITOME of majesty!â

Roadhog ate his fill, slowly standing up and adjusting his pants. Something struck him asâŠ.odd. Come to think of it, heâd had this weird feeling he was being watched. Some sort of critter? A tuft of blonde caught his eye, a hand coming up again to wipe some blood off his mouth. Aha. Now, he wasnât all that familiar with the plants of the wild, but he had a feeling none of them looked quite like THAT.
Slowly, he lumbered over, already grabbing his hook in his hand. Heâd leave out the shotgun. Afterall, he wanted this one alive.
âSoâŠa little rat in hidingâŠ.â He said, a bit loudly. Junkrat would probably get the hint. âHope that thing can scurry when I find himâŠ.âcause Iâm still a git hungry.â
You take quiet, shuddering breaths as you listen intently.Â
But then youâre hearing him stomp closer and closer to the ditch, to the point where the longer you listen, the clearer his rasping breaths become. When he speaks, he sounds like heâs almost right on top of you.Â
Opening your eyes entirely again, you see a shadow cast directly on the other side of the ditch.Â
Yeah, thereâs no way he doesnât know youâre here. And if you donât think quickly, you just might end up on the menu. However, it doesnât take long for flight to win over fight, and as a result, you launch yourself up, purposefully kicking up as much dirt on your way to your feet before youâre clambering out to the left and taking off as fast as your thin, spindly legs will carry you.
There was that almost painful silence where all Roadhog could hear was the sound of his own heavy breathing and the world around him. He -almost- thought he -might- have made a mistake, but then, sure enough....the rat took off and Roadhog let out a snorting laugh watching him go. One of the large manâs favorite parts was giving his victims a head start. It gave them some sort of false sense of hope, and then gave him a bigger thrill when he hooked âem in.Â
He gave Junkrat five seconds before he tossed his hook, effortlessly and with a practiced hand, aiming right for the back of his trousers. He probably knew he was screwed, and Roadhog listened hard for the sound of that inevitable startled cry when he was yanked back by his britches.
Some sleepy junkers. Junkrat found him snoozing and WANTED TO PLAY TOO.Â

overwatch best possible ending: mccree and roadhog are friends who co-own a farm in the middle of nowhere that is very peaceful. roadie breeds pet pigs and jesse has sheep and a few cows, and both of them take care of chickens and a fuckton of barn cats

âHold on, I will come back for you tonight. I wonât let them use you like this.â
Jamison looked up at the other with a tired, then skeptical, then annoyed face. Right. Like heâd never heard THAT one before. How was he supposed to get his âhopesâ up that this fucker was serious? Why would anyone want to help this complete stranger that was considered someone elseâs âpropertyâ? Time to put on a smile before he got hit or something.
âTsh...why not? I mean...money makes the world go round nâ....whatâs the...worst that could happen in here?â In a bit of a lower, growly tone he noted; âAnd how would I know I ainât going from one cage to another, âmateâ....â
circus freak starters
âWhyâd I let you free? Youâre my favourite act.â âYou okay in there? That collar looks awfully tight.â âHold on, I will come back for you tonight. I wonât let them use you like this.â âDonât worry, youâll get used to the cage soon.â âYou have nothing to worry about, my dear, everyone will love you tonight.â âFirst performances are very exciting, I know, but that doesnât give you the right to misbehave like this.â âYouâre just nervous because youâre new, they all are in the first few weeks.â âWhat are you doing in a cage⊠this is inhumane.â âHaha! Look at that one. Whatâs wrong with you, then? Can you talk?â âIf you keep talking back at me like that, Iâm going to give you a muzzle.â âStop complaining, kid, I picked you off the streets because you look funny. You couldâve gotten killed out there for it. You should be grateful.â âYou need to stay here. Outside this circus, youâre just a freak.â âIâm giving you a dry place to sleep. Thatâs better than what you had before. Iâd be grateful if I were you.â âPut on a bit of a happy face. If you look like that, people arenât going to like you, are they?â âI love your act⊠I come here all the time to see you and I was wondering if you were ever free outside of this circus⊠Maybe youâd like to meet up with me sometimes?â âIn here you can be proud of what you are.â âSo, what trick shall I teach you today?â
Warmup that became a cooldown and then a general image of middling temp. Thanks Blizzard for including the least terrifying and yet weirdest headshots of this one on your reference sheet.

It was gross, disgusting evenâŠ.well, to some people. But to Roadhog, it was a meal, and he wound up sitting down and wiping off his mouth as he looked around, thinking out loud.
âIf I were a Rat, where would I hideâŠhrmph. Hole, prolly,â He grumbled, tearing off another chunk of meat. âWonder who he pissed off so badâŠâ
Fear is your motivation to keep quiet, especially as the large man growls to himself, terror making you want to flee.Â
Come on, come on! If you run, youâre gonna die, yaâ drongo!
Just breathe nice and steadyâ if you hold your breath, youâre going to make way more noise. Just breathe, because he wonât be here forever. If you can just hold on long enough, he wonât checkâ heâll finish the kangaroo, and heâll go.

It was actually a rather nice time for a drive, and he would have been content to keep going. But there was that corpseâŠ.he contemplated just driving past it, but in the end, curiosity won over and he pulled aside, heavy steps indicating very well where he was going as he kicked and poked at it.
Come to think of it, he was kinda hungry. Didnât kangaroo make a pretty good steak? How long had this thing been dead, anyway? Roadhog sighed, looking around to make sure thereâd be no interlopers before actually lifting up his mask to dig in.
Tasty.
Thereâs ice in your veins as you hear the engine get cut, chest getting tight as you hear someone mess with the carcass. Thereâs a tell-tale squelch of consumed flesh, and youâre praying thatâs enough to sate whoever stopped, praying they wonât stick around for dessert.
You halt your burying to avoid detection, breathing slow and steady.

It wasnât really much of a secret that the little shithead named âJunkratâ had landed a big score. It was also not a secret that there was a huge bounty on his head as a result, a bounty that Roadhog wouldnât mind scoring. And that is where he was, roaming the wasteland on his motorcycle, looking for any signs of this little shithead with a big prize to score. The engine roar wasnât exactly anyoneâs idea of âsubtleâ, butâŠwell, he wasnât a subtle kind of guy to begin with.
Time to catch a Rat.
@canidkinq
Youâre running for your damn life, scampering over rocks, felled trees, and rubble, sometimes dropping on all fours to keep from losing momentum.Â
About forty minutes into your escape from the last motherfuckers that tried to bag you, mouth dripping blood from where a tooth has been pulled to attempt to extract information from you, as you slow down to take a break.
The distant roar of an engine, however, makes your blood run cold as you scrabble over a broken piece of asphalt. A kangarooâs corpse is spotted, and you make a beeline for it, to heft it out of its ditch and drag it by the road before whoeverâs about to get over the hill.Â
Diving back down into the dirt, you make haste to start pulling soil and gravel onto you as fast as possible to keep hidden if your pursuer comes to investigate the kangaroo.
