Hi! I am Bruneburg. And this blog here is dedicated to "Riesenlied", my multimedia worldbuilding project. It is the setting of Entbandung, my 8-minutes animated graduation film. Riesenlied is a fantasy horror story about culture, power, violence and changing times in a world that is shared with g​iants and cursed by both presence and absence of their long dead god. The story takes places throughout several eras, from ancient days to modern times with modern technology and modern problems. Want to see many times more about this than the few bits I share on here? It even conjured imagery of the creatures right into the air above them. And their strange shapes and movements greatly disturbed all who saw them, leading the frailest of them to fainting. 'I had hoped to spare you the sight of them', Od explained, "But this may be what it needs for you to heed my advice about washing hands.'"

Meet Artevy, my most-drawn @riesenlied guy lately, a 37 bananas tall beast of a man.

The guy used to be Chief Royal Guard and Advisor to a human king.

When said human king dies very suddenly, it's up to him to steer his mostly human home country through a time of crisis. This puts him at odds with The Golden Age Prophet, a leader of a rapidly growing gi​ant-suprem​acist cult.

After a turbulent chain of events he ends up as her second in command. From then on he struggles to keep to two oaths at once - the one to his leader, and the oath he made to the human culture he had originally sworn to protect.
