Women’s March around the world [January 21, 2017]
emmykinney: Vacay 🐬☀️
What do you consider your weaknesses? I don’t have any. I’m that good.
i can’t wait to stay up until midnight on new years eve so i can watch 2016 die
“Movies were meant to stay on the screen, flat and large and colorful, gathering you up into their sweep of story, carrying you rollicking along to the end, then releasing you back into your unchanged life. But this movie misbehaved. It leaked out of the theater, poured off the screen, affected a lot of people so deeply that they required endless talismans and artifacts to stay connected to it.”
– Carrie Fisher, The Princess Diarist
thank you carrie fisher for owning your life despite mental illness and despite addiction and despite 40 years of shaming and bullshit thank you for making it okay to talk about mental illness in a way that isn’t always fun and thank you for making it okay to be mentally ill and unashamed of it thank you for owning mental illness thank you for 60 years of telling the world to go fuck themselves if they didn’t like you thank you so much thank you thank you thank you
R.I.P. Carrie Fisher, who has passed away at the age of 60, her family confirms.

I have never been a cynical person. I’d rather trust nine people and have the 10th one stab me in the back. I’d take that fall in order to have those nine friendships or working relationships instead of having none. That’s not living.
where the fuck is barry allen when you actually need him to change the timeline
to every person of color, to every lgbt person, to every woman and to every minority in the “united” states of america, i am so deeply sorry that you have to endure this and i truly hope that no matter what happens you’re safe.
it literally breaks my heart that someone who admits to sexually assaulting women, who openly calls for discrimination, who is utterly and completely unpredictable, immature, and bigoted, can win over someone so incredibly competent, who’s detractors can only say she’s untrustworthy. It kills me that instead of making history, and electing an amazing qualified female candidate, america could be electing the most openly sexist and racist candidate in modern times.

when i say “unfollow me if you support trump” im not saying it ironically. no, seriously, if you support trump then i dont want your disgraceful ass to be in any way associated with my blog. get out.
trump supporters are getting mad keep reblogging
it’s really telling to read the comments on this post about people bitching about how “this is mean” or “this is childish”, about how “you should respect everyone’s opinions”. i respect all opinions as long as they do not question the validity or equality of a person, and trump’s entire campaign is built upon kicking people down to rise to the top. this is not a normal election, and has absolutely nothing to do with political party. trump is a rapist, a misogynist, a white supremacist, homophobic, islamophobic, transphobic, ableist, sexist, and above all selfish. so no i do not want people who support that to be following my blog, and if you’re offended by that maybe you should think about how offended the rest of us are that you protect such terrible “values” that aim to destroy our equality. eventually you’re going to have to stop living in your fairy tale world where everyone gets along despite one side wanting to take away the rights of the other; if you want to take away the rights of me and my friends, then i refuse to have anything to do with you.
