First of all you need to get the fabric. the fabric i got was 8 meters long, 3 meters wide, i love to have more fabric than not enough Fabric.
So this text post is going to be really long, so the Tutorial us under the read more =] Enjoy. Sorry some of the pictures are really bad, my room is red... so they clashed.
Step one! )
Since my material is plenty wide enough, i folded my material in half so that everything i make would be doubled, that way all my stitches would be inside the two layers instead of outside the two layers. if you don't have enough fabric for that, don't worry you can just hem it up to be on the inside closer to your body.
Step two.
Measure your shoulder width, that way you can tell how wide you need the cape to be, remember to add 2cm for seem allowance. Mark it out, now measure from the top of your neck to the floor, thats how long you want the cape to be.
Step three
Cut out the cape, make the bottom a little wider than the top, remember you foldded the fabric in half so in the end you will end up with two cape shapes. make sure you can pull them apart/
Step four!
For the front part of the cape, use the same measurements as you did from shoulder to shoulder, so when you join the front to the back its the same size, as for the front measure part way down your chest to for how long you want the front to be. Mine was 20cm but i would recommend a little more than that. and then cut out the Square parts.

Step Five
Cut the neck hole, better to do it now than later! make sure if fits over your head. cut half of it on the back half on the front... like this
Step Six
I started on the front part first. Take both pieces and hold them together. then sew along the both Sides, The front bit ( I.e the square bits) and then the neck piece, only. leaving the parts that join to the back Open, this way you can turn the whole piece now inside out so that the stitching is on the Inside. pretty neat right ;p
Step Seven
Do the same to the cape, sew all the way down both sides and the bottom AND the neck, JUST the neck, leaving the bit you attach to the front free like before. Turn this inside out too, and its best to iron it so that it dont poof out at the bottom.
Step eight
To attach the Front to the cape, place the Front piece directly ontop of the back piece like so
Then sew along the arm parts only, do not sew across the neck parts. JUST the two arm bits!
and you will end up with something like this
Step Nine.
Now its time to make the hood. To make the Hood i probably took the lond way which turned out to be easier in the long run. to do this i folded my fabric in half twice, so in the end you end up with 4 parts to the hood, i then placed my hood down on the fabric and cut around it leaving plenty of room for stitching and modifications since i have a big head.
Step 10
Take two peices and sew then together, but only around the Curve of the hood, do not sew the front or the bottom. Do this twice to create two hoods like this
Step 11
take one hood, and turn it inside out, that way the seem will be on the inside (there for it will look the right way) Put that inside the other hood ( the one that still has the stitches on the outside, and then sew along the front still leaving the bottom free!
Step twelve.
Turn it inside out and push the one hood inside the other so you have a hood shape!
The Stitching should now be the right way around, there for you cant see any stitching
Step thirteen
Sew the hood to the cape and then you are done!
( on that note i did fold the front over a little and sew a part over the top but thats becaue its the design i need to do something fancy... xD you dont need to do that. )

Jades Godtier hood is pretty hard to make, i used http://mikay-chan.deviantart.com/art/God-Tier-Jade-Hood-Tutorial-294189406 this tutorial and modified it slightly to my own needs, when i made mine, instead of cutting the slits on the side and then sewing the tails over to make the tails, i simply made the whole thing twice, cut off the actual hood bit and then sewed the tails onto eachother then continued with the tutorial, if you have any troubles making it when it comes to the hood part let me know and i will see if i can make a video tutorial for you on how to make one =] as for the top, i baught one of those dress t-shirts so it came to my knees, then i cut the V shape into the front and back i then used transfere paper to put the logo onto the front. to make the skirt its a good idea to make a circle skirt
Hey, it shouldnt be too hard to find a nice wig for nepeta and it shouldnt need much styling either. i have found a few for you, hopefully some of these will take your fancy!
