Hey babes! I’ve been back from the dead for a few months now and I figured it was probably time for an introduction post…

On this blog you can call me Rina. And ever since I returned to this god forsaken app back in February 2025 all you shit heads have done is ruin my life with your heartbreaking head canons and breathtaking drawings. I swear y’all hate being happy! All I ever do is CRY on this damn app! (Aka your head canons and stories are so fucking good…I hate love you guys.)

I have been a fan of The Outsiders for literal years, ever since I read the book as a wee 13 year old. This blog is, obviously, a tribute to them in only the best ways. ☺️

So, welcome to the one happy corner of The Outsiders fandom!

You will find various silly doodles I have created of “them guys just bein’ dudes” and head canons that I’ve taken and ran with — the “Mexican Steve” head canon being one of many (I am the biggest 🇲🇽Steve advocate you will ever meet). 🤭

CAUTION: If you are trying your best to avoid spoilers for The Great Divide Tour don’t watch the vid (obvs 💛) and I will put the rest of what I’m about to say below the cut!

I. Love. Dial. Drunk. It’s one of the most upbeat songs on the Stick Season album and I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was to hear this song live!! For some reason I associate this song with Steve 😆😆 and that makes me love it even more!

Every time I heard it I could just imagine the stage choreography—Noah being chased around by a cop and him acting super silly! And, man, did he deliver! He performed Dial Drunk EXACTLY how I always envisioned it and I couldn’t have been more elated.

Being able to attend this concert was such an honor and I did not take a second of it for granted. I love you Noah Kahan! Never stop being you, bro! 💛

P.S. I’m going to be living off this high for the rest of my life.

This is definitely what the first sunset looked like, that Ponyboy was finally able to look at, after Johnny and Dally’s deaths.

So Ponyboy is spring, right? The young, the green, the unpredictably moody. The sunset and the reeds and the bare feet splashing through the riverbed. Jeans and cigarette smoke. Warm later but for now, the morning is cold. The closest thing to new life this old city's seen in years.

And obviously Johnny is fall. Jackets and scuffed shoes, loose candy wrappers and deserted playgrounds. Daybreak and silent chills, hot cocoa and whispers, real quiet, but always there. Halfway to dying since the day he was born but it's not like he didn't see it coming.

Then, I think Dallas is summer. Stray sparks from rocks and metal scraps. Rattling car doors down the interstate with the sunroof open. Bass notes crawling up your spine. Hot, liquor drinking nights and shut in, playing card days. Sweat and spit out gum, broken glass on familiar sidewalks chalk used to cover. Burned bright, and gone sooner rather than later, though everyone wished it'd have stuck around just a little longer.

No one thought they’d actually do it…

Steve had mentioned it once as a dare, poking fun at Two-Bit, saying he’d “never actually settle.” That it was “too much commitment for a guy like him.”

And when Marcia’s mother made her final wicked comment about her disapproval of Marcia and Two-Bit’s relationship, well, that was the straw that finally broke the camel’s back.

Boy, was everyone in for the shock of their lives when the pair up and disappeared for a week, only to send back a photo of Marcia in her mom’s old wedding dress—which she stole—and a motorcycle no one had ever seen Two-Bit ride before.

I noticed some of my Mar-Bit content getting some love recently, so I thought I’d feed you with a poorly referenced doodle 😌

I keep thinking about two-bit sighing in relief when ponboy went to pick up the glass after ponyboy busted the end off his bottle and threatened the socs.

He probably went through all five stages of grief because this is ponyboy: softer, kind, gentle for a greaser, ponyboy. And he just threatened a soc?

And ponyboy is just confused because this is what they wanted from him, to get tough.

And nobody in the gang or ponyboy talk about it, so ponyboy never knows that the gang doesn't infact want him getting tough.
