thank you to my beta readers!
Rion pulls out her pack of cigarettes, sliding one out and putting it in her mouth. Her hands were fumbling, patting her pockets looking for her lighter (to no avail). Slumping back down into the bench she was sitting on, about to give up—when she spots you walking over. “Just the person I wanted to see,” she said semi-enthusiastically. Her eyes followed you, not leaving you once. You sit beside, flicking open the silver Zippo lighter you carry around for emergencies. “Need a light?” She lets out a quick chuckle before leaning herself, cigarette in mouth, to the flame of the lighter.
Her eyelashes were long, and her lips were a light shade of pink, glistening from her chapstick. She took a quick inhale before her two slender fingers picked up the cigarette, dragging it away from her mouth. Her hands slightly calloused from who knows what. Just when did she start looking so good—or just when did you start seeing her like this?
The girl sat near the back of the lecture hall, not giving too much thought to whatever was being taught. The girl who you met through Nagumo when you guys were at a party was sitting on a couch with her usual cigarette balanced between those same slender fingers and calloused hands. Her leather jacket hung loosely on one side, showing off the tattoo on the right side of her arm near her shoulder.
You feel a nudge, bringing you back to the current moment. Rion flicks off the burning ash from her cigarette. “Are you feeling alright? You're not starting to fall for me, are you?”You bump your shoulder against her. “In your dreams, Rion.” She lets out a hearty laugh like her joke was the funniest thing that has ever been said. She polishes off the rest of her cigarette before throwing it on the ground, stomping out the rest of the ash.
“But I don't like girls,” you say, pacing around in circles. “I never said you did, all I said was that you might like Rion.” He sinks down into the couch, an arm swung over the back of the couch. You sit back down next to him, swinging your legs over his lap.
You two have made this a routine; he’d come over to your dorm for a casual hookup. It spanned back a couple of months, and it turned into you two confiding in each other. It was comfortable—no… It was safe. It was too dangerous to dig deeper. “Just give it a shot, y/n,” he sighs out, putting his hand out onto your calf. Does she even like girls?” He laughs out loud at your question. “Does she like girls? Is the sky blue?” he says, mocking your question. He takes your phone, texting Rion.
[Hey, want to hang out this weekend?]
You snatch back your phone from his absurdly strong grip. “Why would you do that, Nagumo!?”
[You want to come over? I don't have any plans and wouldn't mind some company.]
Glancing back at your phone, you stare at the message he sent. “Thought I’d help you out a bit,” he sighs out, staring at you with that stupid grin of his. “Hey, if it doesn't work out, you still have me,” he chuckles.
Her door was unlocked—always was. You walk in, finding her on a worn-down couch. Her room filled with the musk of her cigarettes, poorly masked by cheap fruit-scented air freshener. She takes out a cigarette from her pack. “Got a light?” She looks up at you, giving you a lazy smirk. She pats the spot on the couch right next to her, inviting you to sit down.
You sit at the very end—too nervous but not too sure from what. You hand her the lighter, her fingers grazing yours. Rion flicks open the same silver lighter—smoke escapes her mouth as her cigarette lights. She tilts her head, facing you, with that same smirk from before, her eyes meeting yours. Her cleavage accentuated as she pressed against you. “Is there a reason you're sitting so far? C'mon, I don't bite.”
That's a lie—she bites. Rion is now kneeling between your two legs, her fingers toying with the waistband of your pants. “Mind if I take these off, doll?" Her words make you shudder, your body getting hot from the arousal that dripped off her words. You nod in agreement, lifting your hips up to make it easier for her. She pulls off your pants, running the pad of her thumb over your panties. “These are cute. Do you usually wear this type of stuff?” her lips grazing your thighs as she talks. ”Or did you wear these for me?” She licks a long stripe over your soaked panties, letting out a satisfied grunt. She slides her fingers between the fabric, pulling off the only barrier between her and your needy cunt. She continues to kiss your thighs, taking small nibbles up your thighs.
She bites down, leaving small teeth marks along the flesh. Hearing your whines, she licks the digs in your flesh. She moves her tongue, kissing the sensitive bud. Her tongue grazing over your already slick folds. Her thumbs working you, she spits onto your hole, bullying her tongue into you. The mix of her saliva and your wetness dribbles down your thighs. She puts her fingers out in front of your face. “Get them nice and wet for me, sweetheart.” You latch onto her fingers, practically going insane—gagging on them
Her relentless pursuit on your cunt doesn’t stop; she works her fingers into you. Her fingers curling up into your sweetest spots. The knot in your stomach tightens, and so does your cunt. She gets the hint, her fingers keeping that same pace she was going at, and her lips suck on your clit. “C’mon princess, let go for me.” Her sweet words make you lose it, a command that you have to follow. She removes her fingers from the mess between your legs. licking her fingers clean of the mess you made over them. She tosses off her clothes somewhere, not bothering about where they went. She slots her leg right between yours—flipping you over onto her leg.
Your leg intertwined with hers, straddling one of her legs as she rocks her knee. She tugs at the corner of your shirt. “Take this off for me, angel.” You oblige, your soft tits spilling out. A thumb brushing the undersides of one of your tits before her thumb drags over your pert nipple, causing a small moan to escape your lips. Your hands roam to her shoulders, holding yourself down against her—seeking more friction from her legs. With her free hand she pulls out her pack of cigarettes again, pulling out her last one and putting it in her mouth. She lights it with that same lighter you keep letting her borrow. She takes a drag of the cigarette, and the smoke blows in your face. Her hand letting go of your nipple—her fingers grazing your chin. The smell of smoke filling your head. She draws your face near, her lip grazing your bottom lip before she pulls away.
It was too late into the night, with no one around. An empty hallway that was almost as empty as how you felt. She walks you back to your dorm in silence—what more could you say to her? What feelings did you even feel? Do you like her, or do you like how she makes you feel? If she liked you, why didn't she say your name at all?
“I’ll see you at class on Monday, okay?” she smiles at you, not giving you a hint of how she feels. “If you're feeling lonely again, call me. I don't mind keeping you company.” he starts to walk away, leaving you at your dorm door. “Wait—Rion.” She turns back around. “I…had fun today. I’ll see you around.” She smirks again—that same smirk that makes you realize that the emergency lighter you carry was for her. “I’ll keep that in mind, Y/N,” her voice dripping in that same saccharine tone.
There it was, your name, coming from her lips. She finally says it.

Someday, If You Want
Nagumo Yoichi x Fem! reader
Synopsis:
During a visit to Sakamoto’s shop, Nagumo watches Reader bond gently with Hana and unexpectedly imagines a future he’s never allowed himself to want. Later, alone together, he quietly opens up and asks if Reader would want a family with him someday.
Words count: ~1,050
Nagumo Yoichi didn’t think much of the future.
Not because he couldn’t — but because thinking too far ahead had always felt pointless. In his world, people disappeared. Situations changed. Promises didn’t survive long.
Still, as he stood inside Sakamoto’s shop, pretending to browse the shelves while very obviously not doing that, something strange crept into his thoughts.
You were crouched down in front of Hana.
“Careful,” you said gently, smiling as she tugged at your sleeve. “That’s not a toy.”
Hana ignored you completely, holding up a piece of paper covered in colorful scribbles. “Look!”
You leaned in, eyes lighting up. “Wow. You drew all of this?”
Nagumo watched from a distance, hands in his pockets, posture relaxed like always.
You were an Order member. Strong. Efficient. Deadly when you needed to be. He’d seen you take down targets without hesitation. But here — with Hana — you were softer, patient in a way that didn’t feel forced.
It made his chest feel… odd.
Warm.
He frowned slightly, as if annoyed at himself.
Then, uninvited, the thought slipped in.
A quiet house.
You moving around the kitchen.
A child laughing somewhere behind him.
Nagumo stiffened.
“…Tch.”
Shin’s voice cut through his thoughts. “You spacing out again?”
Nagumo glanced over. Shin was watching him with narrowed eyes. Sakamoto, behind the counter, said nothing — but his gaze lingered a little too knowingly.
When Hana hugged your leg without warning and you laughed softly, Nagumo felt it again — that dangerous sense of wanting something more than the moment.
Something permanent.
Later, when the shop had quieted and Hana was distracted elsewhere, Nagumo found you outside, sitting on the steps with a drink in hand.
He sat beside you, close enough that your shoulders brushed.
“…You’re good with her,” he said casually.
You hummed. “She’s easy to like.”
“Yeah,” he agreed. “She is.”
There was a pause.
Nagumo stared ahead, expression unreadable. You didn’t rush him. You never did.
“…Seeing you like that,” he said slowly, “made me think.”
You turned to him. “About what?”
He exhaled, a quiet sound. “About stuff I usually avoid.”
That got your attention.
Nagumo wasn’t smiling now. His voice was calm, measured — the same tone he used before missions, when he meant what he said.
“I don’t really plan,” he continued. “I’ve always just… dealt with things as they come.”
You nodded.
“But today,” he said, glancing at you, “I imagined a future.”
Your breath caught.
“…And?” you asked gently.
He hesitated. Just for a second.
“It wasn’t bad,” he admitted. “Didn’t feel wrong.”
Then he looked at you properly.
“If someday,” he said, “you wanted something like that… a family…”
His voice softened.
“…I think I’d want it too. With you.”
You smiled — not surprised, not overwhelmed. Just warm.
“I do want that,” you said. “Someday.”
Nagumo let out a quiet laugh, relief slipping through despite himself. He leaned back slightly, eyes closing for a moment.
“…Good,” he murmured. “Glad it’s not just me.”
He reached for your hand, squeezing it once — solid, certain.
Hey there! Was wondering if you can do a Kaji Ren headcanons where he’s in a relationship with an f!reader who’s as temperamental and snappy as him.
It’d be funny if they get mad at each other for something small and she just, holds out way longer.
Stay safe and drink water!
Two Short Fuses, One Long Standoff
Kaji Ren x Temperamental Fem! Reader
Synopsis:
Dating Kaji Ren means constant tension, sharp words, and stubborn standoffs — especially when the reader is just as temperamental as he is. When they fight over small things, she always holds out longer, forcing Kaji to swallow his pride and make the first move.
Words count: ~850-900
Kaji doesn’t fall for someone gentle and endlessly patient. He falls for you — someone who snaps back just as fast as he does, someone who doesn’t flinch when his tone gets sharp.
You argue over stupid things. Really stupid things.
He uses your towel?
You move his stuff without asking?
He forgets to text once?
It always starts small. A comment. A look. A sharp “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Kaji’s temper is quick, but controlled — clipped words, narrowed eyes, jaw tight. He never yells unnecessarily, but the irritation is obvious.
You? You’re worse.
You don’t raise your voice either — you just go cold. Sharp replies. Minimal words. You outlast him every single time.
The first time this happens, Kaji genuinely thinks you’ll cool off quickly like everyone else.
He’s wrong.
Hours pass. Then a full day. You don’t bring it up. You don’t apologize. You act perfectly normal — which somehow pisses him off more.
“You still mad?” he asks, arms crossed, tone rough.
“Why would I be?” you reply flatly, not even looking at him.
That’s when he realizes: you’re holding the grudge out of spite.
Kaji respects it. Hates it. Is lowkey impressed.
He’s not good at apologizing. He doesn’t say “sorry” easily — pride gets in the way. Instead, he tries actions.
Walking you home without saying anything.
Handing you a drink after training.
Standing closer than usual, like a silent truce.
You don’t budge. You wait.
When he finally cracks, it’s quiet. “I shouldn’t’ve snapped.”
He doesn’t elaborate. That’s all you get — but from Kaji Ren, it means everything.
You forgive him eventually, but you never make it easy. He learns very quickly that you’re not someone he can bulldoze through.
Their relationship is full of tension — not toxic, but sparking. You challenge him, and he secretly loves that you don’t back down.
During fights with others, Kaji is terrifying. During fights with you, he’s restrained — jaw tight, fists clenched, eyes avoiding yours because he knows if he pushes too far, he’ll regret it.
You’re the only person who can tell him, “You’re being an ass,” and live to see another day.
When you’re mad for longer than usual, he gets restless. He hates unresolved tension, but he won’t force you to talk.
He waits. Watches. Protects you anyway.
If someone else pisses you off while you’re already annoyed at him? That person is done.
“She’s not in the mood,” he says flatly, stepping in front of you. “Walk away.”
You argue like fire and fire — but when things are calm, you’re unexpectedly solid.
Sitting side by side in silence. Sharing food. Leaning into each other after training without saying a word.
You both understand anger. You both understand restraint. That’s why it works.
In the end, Kaji doesn’t want someone who softens him. He wants someone who matches him — and that’s exactly what you do.
