Red’s been around Littleroot town, Hoenn for a while now. He revisited prof. Birch because he owed him some research that Red has filled while in his stay in Kalos. It’s already became a tradition for the professors al around regions to make him do some chores every now and then. Red didn’t dislike it, to be honest. It gave him reason to come and go from one place to another place. This one is the study of Pokemon habitats around Kalos. Well, the Kalos was not really much identical to Hoenn which are mostly covered with waters, so it made Red’s compilation quite easy.
That was when he saw the petite girl entered the lab from the front door. To say the girl is unfamiliar to him is not really right. He acquainted with her once, but not really much. “Hey, how’s hangin’, kiddo? Been running around much, I see?”
“A kiddo that could kick your butt, if she wanted to.” The comment is idle, ire on her features for a moment before it fades off again. She had better things to worry about, pokedex already in hand. Why else would she come back, if not to report what both Aqua and Magma were up to, or get her pokedex evaluated? There really wasn’t one.
Still, a look around told her that the professor wasn’t in. (A little frustrating, but that’s fine, she could wait around.) A roll of her eyes is given before she speaks again.
“Being as I’m the Champion and all, yeah, I was-- what about you? How are your nerd studies going?”
