"Rosyn"
Original set hair had 90k polygons, even before any intervention by me. I wasn't in the mood to make the full hair, as it would have taken me quite a lot of effort to do all the texturing and doubling of all the curls and keep it under 100k like with the Halwe and Angelique hairs : so I didn't. The original is, regardless, very beautiful, but I really liked the top/hairline most, and thought it would be very cute as a shorter hair so here is a mash-up or 'improvised' short version.

Known issues :
Strands on face may clip on sims with exaggerated cheeks or cheekbones.
If the sim twists their neck some deal, the hanging strands might distort oddly, as they are weighted to the neck as well as head.
Hat chops are a little messy with all the strands but should do well enough for most hats

Resources for Historical Sims (and other historical costuming needs)
Pt 1: Research and Photo References
I have been working on and off on my Sims 4 decades lookbooks for the past 6 years now, so I figured I'd share some of my favorite resources for learning about fashion history. In the age of AI, it is increasingly important that we know where we are getting our info from. I've been seeing more AI-generated "historical" images crop up from Google searches, so here are some online resources that I trust:
Fashion History Timeline: My favorite source for learning about fashion history. Published by the Fashion Institute of Technology, this site features scholarly articles for each decade from the 1400s to the 2010s, along with articles for numerous cultures across the ancient world and the Middle Ages. Cites all sources and photos, features men's, women's, and children's attire, and includes diversity and historical context!
The works of Ruth Turner Wilcox: Her illustrated books on fashion history are fantastic and available online with a free Internet Archive account. My favorites are The Mode in Hats and Headdresses, The Mode in Costume, and Five Centuries of American Costume. She covers nearly all of fashion history, up until the time of the books' publication in the 40s-60s. Her writing goes into meticulous detail, and her illustration style rocks.
The Met Costume Institute: The Costume Institute has an expansive collection of fashion plates from 1700 to 1955, which they have sorted into collections based on the year, along with other sub-categories. Includes clothes for men, women, and children, as well as theatrical costumes.
Bloshka: A visual compendium for basically all of fashion history, from ancient times to modern day. They have timelines for every decade from the 1800s to the 1990s, as well as visual infographics for the Middle Ages through the 18th century. Includes both men's and women's fashion. Good for visual reference and inspiration, but they don't cite the source of their images, so best used in conjunction with other resources.
Vintage Dancer: Primarily a site for how to put together historical costumes, they also have a bunch of fashion history guides for both men and women for each decade of the 1900s, along with some Victorian era stuff as well. One particular strength of this website is its articles featuring photos of African American fashion and culture from the early 20th century.
Gentleman's Gazette: Men's style website that also has articles on historical fashion, primarily from the late 19th and 20th centuries. Their What Men Really Wore series is particularly good and very in-depth. Since the changes in men's fashion over the last 200 years have been slower and more subtle than women's, I wanted to include a source that specializes in it. The search function on their website appears to be broken, so I recommend googling "Gentlemen's Gazette + topic" to find articles on specific eras.
Part 2 will be more Sims-specific resources!

I made a custom 51-sim posepack over a year ago... which is, quite frankly, ridiculous. So here are some bite-sized versions!
Pose 3 comes with instructions to place the chairs. You will need the TOOL mod. The furniture listed below are suggestions, not requirements.

PIERCED EARS (skin detail)
a tiny cc item that adds piercing holes. i dedicate this to wolfgang's ears that looked too bald and un-pierced in sleep outfit.
added swatches with a lot of holes, so your sim can still look badass even when they remove their piercings before going to bed... but you can see how many there are!

IF YOU HAVE the old Alpine-Lapine version of this pose pack downloaded, DELETE IT as this .package file is an edit of that one! So make sure you delete the old one.
These are designed more specifically for the appearance of the Jacoban and Peteran religions from TSM in the story I wrote, but all of these except the prayer ones can be used for other more general purposes like weddings, podium speeches and such.
Ideally use Zx-Ta's TSM conversions of the Jacoban and Peteran pulpits and pews for this, but should work alright with any bench + any podium. The pulpits require City Living.
The 'hand up talking' poses are animations, and each one has a 3-frame animation facing forward, left, and right.

hello everyone! today i give you a remake of my reach hair, which is based off a hair from the witcher. i knew i had the skills to remake it and have it be more accurate, so i did so!
fun fact, i made the bangs of this hair myself! i have been starting to create more hairs from scratch, which is extremely rewarding despite how long it takes. a lot of my newer to be released hairs have elements that i made myself or that i have made myself entirely :)
the base of this hair is from @kaycreame, and the braids are from @ssspringroll's handy braid tool (i genuinely use this tool all the time, its so nice!!), and the bangs were made by me.
this hair is 29k poly - beware!

Soft Shabby: Bedroom
Hey guys!
I'm so excited to finally share my newest set with you — Soft Shabby: Bedroom!
This set was inspired by the cozy charm of a grandma's bedroom, filled with vintage furniture, refurbished pieces, and charming thrifted finds.
It includes everything you need to build the perfect shabby-inspired bedroom: single and double beds, a vanity table, desk, dresser, wardrobe, nightstand, curtains, rug, lamp, outlets, light switches, decorative frames, and books. Most of the items feature aged, shabby details and a well-loved aesthetic that captures the beauty and character of older furniture.
Lately I've been enjoying making some new small item interactions to somehow enrich the gameplay, so one of my favorite things about this set is that it comes with a couple of interactive features! The curtains can be opened and closed whenever you want, making it easy to change the mood of the room throughout the day. The wardrobe also includes a new interaction that allows you to open and close its doors, adding a more dynamic and immersive touch to your gameplay.
I had so much fun working on this collection and adding all the little details that reminded me of my own grandma, which makes this set especially meaningful to me. It truly has a special place in my heart. :)
Oh I also wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your support. We've reached 30,000+ members on Patreon! I appreciate each and every one of you. Your kind messages, encouragement, and support mean the world to me! I'm incredibly grateful to have such an amazing community. So, thank you!🤎
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this new set :)
