Happy ten years to Ready Jet Go!!!! Only known about it for lil over a year, but promise imma keep loving this show forever!! Taught me so much, came up with the most fun and cute headcanons, and met and strengthened my bond with great people!! This event was so fun, very glad to be in this awesome fandom with y'all.🛸👽🌟🌌 Mann.. been so long time since i last drew these guys.

OH MY STARS, 10 YEARS?? A WHOLE DECADE?? I can't believe it's already been 63 Bortronian years. Looks like the future really got here here fast! Huh? 💙

Oh boy, my Earthie brain still can’t comprehend the fact that it’s been exactly 10 whole years since ‘Ready Jet Go!’ first came out. I was there for when the seriees first premiered, and when it ended at the Space Camp mov. I remember I would always change the channel right to PBS Kids as soon as I would come home from school and o’corse RJG was one of the many shows that came on. Despite being there for the show’s release I didn’t actually get really into the series until near the end of 2020 after deciding to check it out again, because some friends kept bringing it up. Ever since then I’ve been really hooked onto the series. This show holds a special place in my heart, and has been my top 1 favorite/comfort show, and Jet himself has been my absolute favorite character for about 5 years now. I learned a lot from this series, way more than what school has ever taught me TBH. Astronomy is such a really fascinating concept and I wished the show could’ve gotten a chance to cover more of it. Anyways I really love this show. I love the characters, I love the humor, I love drawing fan art, and I love the songs. I’m not joking when I say that I have all the songs memorized by heart. They’re so catchy and upbeat I can’t help myself. 😭 This show generally makes me laugh and puts a smile on my face every time I watch it.

I’d like to thank all my Earthie friends who live on your planet. This show’s fandom is so nice, and I know that’s pretty rare for fandoms. And for the people who helped bring this show to life you all did an amazingly coolsome job. <3

Happy 10th anniversary to my favorite cartoon ever made, Ready Jet Go!!!!!!!!!!!!

The show meant so much to me and was a huge comfort show for me in fifth grade, and even though it's over, it still means so much to me now. It taught me so much about astronomy, things I never learned in school, but it also gave me catchy songs and lovable, brilliantly-written characters I really connected with. I decided to draw all the name characters together, this art took a long time, but it was worth it. Several of these characters I haven't drawn before.

Day 7: Free Day!! (Ready Jet Go edit)

I thought of a Ready Jet Go edit earlier from the start, so I made the edit with Blurr. I’m not certain about the adjustments I made to be honest, but I feel like this turned out good at the end :].

RJG10th: Day Five- What I Learned!

A lot of stuff presented in this show i already knew, but i did learned a few things from the series!! First thing to come to mind is that Pluto has region called the Tombaugh Regio (or 'Tomboy Radio', as Mindy call it), which look like a heart! Think that whole thing that episode was super cute. Also learned that Jupiter got 67 moons, although i can't remember all the names- except for Io, that apparently look like pizza, jaja. Oh yea, and Enceladus and Eropa!

Ready Jet Go! 10th Anniversary Week | Day 6: What you learned from the show

↳ These things they don't teach you in schools. I never even knew other planets had their own moons until I watched the series. Also, Jupiter has over 90 confirmed satellites.

We are now on the 6th day of the @rjg10th week and today we got 'What you learned from the series'.

While I did learn a lot of cool Space and Earth facts, one lesson that really stuck out to me on a personal level was 'It's okay to be yourself!'. I said this during day 1 but I'll say it again, Jet and the show has helped me appreciate, and accept myself more. So for this I choose to redraw a scene from 'My Fair Jet' since it pretty much has that lesson in store.

Now I've seen this lesson in other kids shows before it's nothing new. But I'm going to get a bit personal with ya for a long time I was having a hard time expecting myself. Especially as a queer disabled person living in a red state in the US. I normally mask and stay in the closet to keep myself safe. Just like how Jet has to keep his alien identity hidden away from the general public. I know I sound like a broken record when I say this but I mean it when I say this show has really helped me to accept and love myself for me. That is one of the many reasons why I love Jet, and the show as a whole. ♥︎

Ready Jet Go 10th Anniversary Week! Day 6: What you learned from the show

Like I said in yesterday's post, RJG was my first ever impression of astronomy and STEM. I learned VERY much from the show but I narrowed it down to three main things: - All the wonders of the solar system! The sun, planets, moons, asteroids, and more!

Plus tiny Pluto! I didn't know about the existence of the dwarf planet until I watched RJG

– Scientific problem solving (like the scientifc method!)

– Perspective!

Day 6: What you learned from the series?

Something I learned from this series is that you can ALWAYS try and try and try again until something works. You can still have fun while trying to figure out what’s the problem with the experiment, even if it’s a failed experiment!

RJG10th: Day Four- How You Discover Series!

Aghhh sorry for being so late!! Was busy today and yesterday, but now i able to answer! So, here the story. Back in January 2025, was looking on the internet for what people considered "bad cartoons" and something called 'The Groovenians' caught my eye. To my disappointment, it only a scrapped Cartoon Network pilot and not full series, but i watched it and genuinely really liked it!! Totally my wacky, weird, alien vibe. One the main characters in the pilot named Jet, and while searching up things related to him, Jet Propulsion came up in the results. He too caught my eye and decided to look more into who he is and what series he came from. Anddd... the rest history lol.

Storytime! (under the cut so I'm not being annoying on anyone's dash lol)

I first found out about the show in the summer of 2016, and it was pretty random — I just so happened to be watching PBS kids on TV with my mom and stumbled on the first episode of RJG. I probably just watched 5-10 minutes of it but I immediately thought it was SUPER cool!

Because my family was in a busy situation then (we were moving to another city) I didn't get to actually watch more episodes until around September of that year. By then, I'd pretty much forgotten about the show, but one day — again, super randomly — the first episode came on again when I was watching TV at my new house. I got really hooked on it starting from then on and I developed a special interest in astronomy and STEM that continues to be a part of me today!!

I was only 6-8 years old back when I was watching the show regularly, and didn't have any learning experience in astronomy beforehand, so pretty much everything I learned about space was from the show! I was SO obsessed about it but didn't have anyone else who shared the same interest to talk to, so I was pretty lonely, but I still talked about it a lot to the point that one of my old friends said (in a kind of annoyed tone, now that I think back) "oh, you're always talking about ready jet go!"

yes, old friend. I would have talked MUCH more about it actually! In addition to its colourful characters and hilarious comedy, it's fueled the wonder I have about outer space and our universe that's still stuck with me, and probably will for the rest of my life!

Oh, and I also want to add these drawings I made when I was a kid, which probably qualifies as my first fanart lol! I shared these with @the-little-armored-one but I might as well post them again!

It is now day 5 of the @rjg10th anniversary week project, and today's topic is 'How you discovered the show'.

So lil Ol 11 yro ArtGurl actually knew about the show back in 2016 when it first came out. Whenever I came home from school I would go and change the channel to PBS Kids. RJG was one of those shows that would come on. TBH with y'all at the time I didn't really care for this show. I only watched it because one, it would come on and because well, two I had nothing better to do. I believed I had stopped watching the show and PBS Kids as a whole for a while somewhere around 2017-18ish. But only because my family had switched to a different tv network plan that literally didn't have PBS Kids included. I remembered being so disappointed PBS Kids wasn't included in the tv package. So I missed out on season 2 when it first premiered.

Then about 4 years later in late 2020 at 16 some of my moots started bringing up the show.

Eventually at some point during my free time I decided to revisit the series since most of my friend were talking about it. I remembered being blasted by a wave of nostalgia. Especially when watching and listening to the theme song again, and revising season 1 after years of not watching it.

Of corse ya'll already know how the story ends. I fell in love with the show and it's been my main hyperfixation ever since. 😖
